How to read CPU temperature in Windows? (Intel Celeron 1.7)

Try Everest, i remember it had temp readings.

Seems it's not available any more. Going to try its replacement, but it doesn't say it supports my CPU. Who knows, I'll find out when I try.
Never mind, it's downloadable. I downloaded its replacement too, AIDA64. Both work great. My current CPU temperature is pleasant 47°C. Thank you!

Can you help me to find where it shows CPU temperature, please?

I use HWMonitor.

My dad has it and it's good for his shiny 2010 PC, but it doesn't work for my old CPU, always shows the temperature as 0°C.

CoreTemp is a very good software.

Nice and simple, but doesn't show the temperature either. Shows current and max as 0.

NEVER VACUUM CLEAN!!, that can cause static that fries components, thats why i said compressed air can, in short bursts

if you have to push the fan to get it started then it will in time totally fail, imagine if your away from you comp and it stops, POP, dead cpu, then nothing to use

fans only cost a couple of pounds (in uk anyway) its not worth the risk is it, better to get a fan, talk it to a comp shop and ask them

Vacuum cleaning worked perfectly fine, don't worry. I did it after it failed, thinking it overheated because of all those meters of dust. I'm a careful person (mostly). Somehow I wasn't clumsy while I was doing it. And no static possible if the computer is plugged out.
Wish I had those couple of pounds. No, it's €10 here. Wish I had that. I'll replace the whole computer in November or December, after my dad starts working again, so never mind. And don't worry that the CPU will get fried, it turns off automatically after it heats up to a bit over 100°C, which it can stand easily. They made things to last 10 years ago.
I don't even leave it running while I'm away. Not now. Thanks for the warning, though.

Does anyone know any other program that supports Intel Celeron 1.7 CPU?
