' Wrote:Yes they use Pirate ID which by no means says you can shoot people/traders on sight without making a demand. And specially when they are zoners and have no cargo.
Just to bare in mind ;)
We always make demands, although the demands may not always be of a monetary nature.
Now, quit trying to hassle me, my patience isn't limitless, and this isn't the first time you've tried this.

Also, to be constructive to the topic at hand, yes indeed, the BAF have privateers. If you ask me, corporations like the BMM should have privateers, as well - hassle the competition. The Dutch East (or was it West?) India Trading Co had privateers back in the day, and used them to hassle the Spanish treasure fleets (hoozah for History lessons). I think it would make for interesting RP, though with next to no one running faction-specific trader IDs, there wouldn't be much point to it (as you'd have to target specific IDs, not just the generic Trader IDs).

Fully agreed. This sort of thing went through my mind as I was putting the idea together, and it's still there, just in case.
When the Privateer ID comes out, I may make a BMM Privateer too, attacking IMG miners. Before then, I guess people could use a BMM tag, for instance, and rob folk that trade on IMG routes.
If I see Privateers in the Taus after I get my Albatross, the BAF is going to have some paperwork to file. You blasted privateers. Ugh. When I get that Battlecruiser, it will be Stationed at Holman Outpost patrolling the lanes between the Leeds and Tau-29 jump gates.
You have about a week.

Those who do not learn history are condemned to repeat it.
Therefore, the BAF is apparently a bunch of tea-sipping fools who forgot their history textbooks and instead, fired spitballs at the teacher and mugged little kids for lunch money.

You do know that a couple of BAF-P bombers would utterly annihilate an Albatross in Tau-31, right?
Yes, I'm bitter, when I was pirated in Kyushu by these idiots! *rant* *rant* *rave* *rant*
BAF bombers? I'll slap on a few battleship Missile turrets and the rest Solaris.
