Discord's a bit too buggy for everyday use for me. There's a channel flickering bug which makes me unable to select any text channels (confirmed by Discord developers).

Also, the desktop app ignores the conventions + features of the platform it's on. So if you're on OSX or Linux it isn't going to be properly functional.

Skype is crap, but this isn't enough of an improvement to warrant a large-scale move.

I am afraid we have everyone on Skype, and until Skype servers are dead the crowd won't move. And there is no need.

I for one am happy to use both, admittedly one has better features than the other but it's not THAT much different so it really doesn't bother me

Or, we could just keep using Skype and Teamspeak. Works great.
