I think for the most part it is taking advantage of a unbalance or over looked glitch not any different then sometimes sitting at a NPC battle ship and letting it kill gunboats and swooping in and gathering the loot for hours. I agree it is a disadvantage you load out 4 turrets and only allowed to load 40 missiles that is 10 salvos and you are out. Having multi missile launching systems for large Cap ships it pointless just average out the damage make one missile. and make the ammo for the turrets set value per turret equipped. It is a form of cheating to be honest it is takeing advantage of a exploit that other players in the realm of RP that can not use with out taking punishment in the form of a energy penalty

No I don't believe it is cheating or abusing a glitch. I believe it's something the mods overlooked when they were updating the game. I think it's perfectly reasonable, I mean a capital ship would have to trade off an extra heavy turret slot to be able to carry the extra ammo, a turret slot which could be used for something else such as a Battelrazor or Ceberus turret or a Solaris gat gun or a Motar.

The issue is that for the large part all lawfulls seem to have the option to equip two different missle launchers and carry twice the ammo while unlawfulls for the large part do not. This means they can harass other ships for twice as long and in the case of Cruisers and battleships have more chances to score an instakill on snubs.
