Good, now make a discord chat about the subject, add the art team devs and the head dev (me, @"Auzari" , @Durandal and @Xalrok ) and post your progress there, so we can give concrete feedback on it.
If you want this, you will have to make unique cerberus FX for all major factions. I don't guarantee it will be approved, but I can give my own "OK" stamp on it.
You can keep your forum post up-to-date with your progress also, but dev matters and technical details (ALE work, color correction, etc) need to be discussed with the art team members that I mentioned above.

I'd really love to be among of these people willing to learn ALE. I've tried once before but file conversion not working for some reason made me give up. Also learning with someone else side by side might be a tiny bit easier. So, @Tenacity if you have something like this in mind let me know (sun)

I'd like to see your take on Bretonian cerbs. My personal preference is using the razor model (long beam of white) as a base, as this is the vanilla freelancer weapon for Bretonia like the Siege gun is for Liberty. One thing I miss playing Bretonia is having the long beam of white.
