I like the concept of psionics in Freelancer, however, I feel like it's something you need to tread extremely carefully with. In fact, the only time I've used it as a concept is to write lore, and not using it in the server or stories environment (although, maybe if I ever get the energy I do really want to write a story about a PI who investigates paranormal stuff). Ultimately though, I feel like this concept would probably benefit without it. I actually had a similar idea, except it'd be more like a galactic charted company rocking a privateer ID and claiming far off lands for the kingdom.

and the Wild powergaming their way ingame are bad enough.
