Although it is not personal information and I don't know where you live but the "right to be forgotten" stuff could probably be requested on Google

For that I need to prove to the different search engines that I am the physical person for which I request this right to even be considered which kills the purpose. I ain't giving Google a photo of my government issued ID for them to link it to this DGC account and then sit around twinkling my thumbs hoping they respect it.

Heck Google gets fined by the EU every single year for GDPR infringements and they just pay the fine, they even got fined 2.4 BILLION euros this year alone. I'd let a train run over my own limbs before giving that megacorp an official ID.

I must've posted something on this website from my Android phone at some point in time which linked my account name here to my Google account which I can't get rid off without bricking my phone, trust me, I tried with a factory reset and upon restart it wouldn't even let me access the default EMUI Chinese Android distribution from Huawei without the creation of a Google account first even though Google is banned in China.

What a way to turn me from an Android fan into an Apple customer...

Timezones are an issue, yes, and these types of actions are not necessarily a priority, you feel 18 hours is too short a time frame for an action to be taken, but after (now) 19 hours, I feel it's plenty of time for a simple confirmation that action would be taken, whenever that might happen.

So admin discussed the issue with you over some PMs and then it was moved to another person because he does not have access to tools to solve it. And you freak out that it takes so much time as 19 hours to handle non-emergency request? Wow, man. Do you realize that so far it was processed faster than it would be in most of the proffesional paid customers services?

I know, but the whole "we don't delete accounts" policy rubbed me the wrong way and it's frustrating because everyone says to wait on Alex, ok so if I wait for Alex 19 more hours, or 2 days, or a week or whenever Alex decides to get back at me and he says "no I won't delete the account" what then? Then I would've waited over nothing which is why I wanted at least a confirmation that it's gonna happen at some point.

You're concerned that you show up on Google? Judging by your profile, I don't see any personal info that you've shared, maybe except your name, but I wouldn't know (and not that I would care - no offense).

In this day and age, you can't hide from Big Brother, information is power and money and they spy on everyone by making a virtual profile of every person and you're the one who gets to decide what to share online about yourself (excluding your own country's government which keeps your personal info).

Why would you care about your profile here if it doesn't have your own personal information? Such as your name (?) , where you live, what you do etc.

But aside from that, just be patient, I am sure that the admins will grant your request.

While the senseless stubbornness of the disco staff is infuriating especially for easy win-win solutions of long lasting mod and community problems that they refuse to fix, and is in those instances obviously caused by petty ego issues they have and the immense sense of power they get from saying "no", I think the reason why an admin didnt just go ahead and delete your account is because completely deleting accounts has been abused by an admin in the past (because of personal rage and non-track-able censorship reasons), and is therefore "forbidden" for individual admins unless they consult with the others or the forum owner.

Also, who keeps using/spreading sensitive information over multiple years and then gets pissed off at OTHER people for not removing it fast enough for them? Jesus.
