I'm for fixing issues with the current ships first.
We have so many ships that no one flies. And also, we have just a small number of those ships that have issues to fix. I suggest patience, fix the problematic ones and remove those ships that no one flies (specially if there's gonna be a player wipe), then add the new ones.
Of course, if Igiss agrees. Just my opinion however.

Yes of course fixing existing ships is the priority Only a distinct way of deciding when a ship is 'finished' is lacking. I'm still fairly new to this, but I can see us rehashing old balancing arguments every time a change is made.

I have patience, which is why this thread exists, to put a voice out there for future consideration.

I could not agree more, for instance, Lets put the big wepons in the back of the freighters where they can do some good.
Also I have noticed some interesting ships I would like to try. But they are weaker ships sitting in border worlds and quite frankly don't think they could make it out of the dock let alone the system. So how about moving them into the easier systems and moving the big boys out to the tougher systems. Like that monster sitting on Pitsburg that I always have to fly through, that does not need to be in NY... Move it out to the far end of TX and replace it with that interesting little homeworld freighter (that I don't remember the name of) has a 190 cargo hold. Just one example I am sure everone could think of a few more.
Just my 2 cents.. perhaps that is 4 cents today.

the one in that mod had 6 class 10s under the wing pilons, 1 torp, mine, CM. I would expect these to be adjusted as the admins see fit. I'm not terribly experienced with the bombers in this mod though. Is it true that there is only one bomber wtih 2 torp mounts?

Yngen, there are 2 main bombers in the mod.

The Rheinland Bomber has more armour a 2 turrets and is slower.

The Taidan bomber is ALOT faster and also has 2 trop mounts but it has less armour and no turrets.

The Taiidan also cost 4 mill while the RB cost 7 mil, give or take.
