If I see just one "OMG" "WTF" or "LOL" I'm going to let you know, and hope they get kicked out.

There is going to be a disciplinary system put into play. The lower the rank the more lenient it will be unless its something terrible. You cant expect us to lop off the heads of someone equivalent to a rat tag in opg.

Also any of these reports will be welcome and will be delt with, give us a bit of time to get worked into the new system though. Id say a week to week and a half.

Agreed. I have collected a bounty or two on them If I remember correctly, and I myself was a bit confused at the discombobulation of ship types and weaponry and whatnot.

But I hope they are indeed capable of becoming a up and coming addition to the world we all know fondly of as "Discovery"

Lets keep all this to constructive criticism, and take a breath before posting any type of flame or "Miniflame"

Anger abides only anger,
Hate brings only hate,
So in turn, drown your enemies with Love.
And these needless hungers will sate.

All's forgiven. As I said initially, no worries.

I'll be happy to see you come back, there's roleplay opportunity in having another Junker organization around. The Congress itself is changing its image a bit to fit the 'Junker' motif as well, so there might be more synergy. The current RP is not my doing and it's a bit unwieldly at the best of times.

Meantime, get your boys straight and I'll see you succeed yet.

Hm. Interesting. We'll see how it goes.

My remarks:

Piracy
Don't require transports. I know, cargo piracy makes sense and all that (it's what my Buccaneer focuses on), but also consider it from the other person's perspective; wouldn't it suck to lose 3400 cargo from your 3600-cargo Border Worlds Transport? Hell, even an Advanced Train - you pay for 5,000 cargo and finish the run with only 1600?

Of course, if you're only requesting a portion or if the transport's just a backup measure in case it comes to explosions, that's fine.

Ships
Add freighters. The Bactrian, reportedly, is a good pirating freighter, and it's a good ship class to start a new member in - my Buccaneer started in a Dromedary, and I like it so much I'm keeping it even when he gets new ships. They're not great in a fight, true, but they can provide Screamer mine support that transports can't, which can be useful for taking out a transport that refuses to pay, and they can carry a little extra cargo. They can also run and hide in a debris field easier than a transport.

The Heavy Tanker is not an option. Too much cargo for Junker, Junker Guard, or Pirate ID.

buddies it makes me happy to see people change their ways here.

Take it from someone who has faced the Disco horde in the past, when i say it is a tough crowd to please.

Kudos to you guys, If you ever need ANY help at all. dont be afraid to ask me at any time. And i agree with dusty, dont be confining yourselves to much. The server can be very fun for a group of your sorts if you do it right. Without having to ladle to many restrictions on yourselves. Try to find a quiet medium.

Good to see your group making the proper efforts to improve.

As for the open market ships, I'd advise to stay away from ships manufactured by lawful House factions or corporations. The Havoc is one of them, even if sold on a wide market, a pirate flying it would be... wrong.

We plan on keeping things really open only limiting it to the ships mentioned and no gunboats (unless they really rp it out) or cruisers (we will have these at one point but it will be extremely limited). I know I myself would not join a faction that says "You have to go with this super weak ineffective ship till you prove yourself" so we aren't going to push that. This is just to attempt to curtail the lolwut ship gun combos.

Dont think this doesnt exclude diplomacy though. I am currently talking with a certain group for access to their guns and once the rp is hammered out either the mollys or rogues for greyhounds and barghests. Diplomacy will allow us to expand said shipline.

On freighters-To tell you the truth I didnt even think of freighters. Generally the same kind of rules that apply to the fighters and bombers will apply to freighter choices.

The lawful civilian ships (example maffic and havoc) will be allowed on the condition of thinking of a decent reason for a pirate having one. I feel this is acceptable compared to what we have been flying and I am very hesitant to further disallow choices.

To gloucester, pirates generally dont pay money back. So unless there was some wrongdoing besides piracy or such your not getting a credit.

Also I say again we are working on the rp as this post goes up. Going to try to stay junker pirates but it may be the community has to much of a bias and script in their heads to do this. Dont know yet but any rp suggestions would be gladly welcomed in my personal message box.

Good to hear that you're changing. You're the only "lolwutting" group I've heard of to actually do this, so you should be applauded. I've got a couple of suggestions on how you can improve your newfound RP:

The LTC should not be docking on the bases of the people who are interrogating them, and especially not be undocking after being destroyed, moving back to their cargo, picking up what they can and trying to escape once again, it's annoying to all involved, especially the lawful who has to kill you twice in less than 10 minutes.

When pirating, don't be afraid to run before the law arrives. When someone's shouting out your position in chat, it's time to be at a different position. (My pirate has survived for months of regularish use with this idea in mind)
