Guys, the Osiris is one of the best battleships. Smallest meaning hardest to hit. Its the most agile, making it even harder to hit. Its got enough turrets to deal decent damage. Now the fact that it can dodge at a long range means you can hurt other BSs while sustaining small damage itself.

The reason yours keep dieing is because you don't DODGE in that thing. You should fly it more like a cruiser than a BS. Your going straight at the enemy with only strafe on, and shooting everything you have. You need to move more, not try to trade damage for damage, because every other ship beats it in that category.

The Huntress, yes is kind of ****. Good frontal damage though, making it a good cruiser to use on BCs and BSs. Can't shoot backwards though.

GB is good, you guys already said that.

And BTW; Corsairs aren't meant to have the best ships or ship builders. Outcasts are on par, if not better, at making ships than the Corsairs. Zoners arguably have the best Vanilla VHF in the game.

About Corsairs using the Osiris (not sure if anyone already said this, as I kind of skimmed the thread) came from the Order. Corsairs and Order are almost allied, so Order sells them weak versions of the Osiris (thats what the patrols are. Under-graded Osiris' bought from The Order.

Alternate ships are;
Battleship: None
Battlecruiser: Maybe Albatross
Cruiser: Rheinland Pirate Cruiser
Gunboat: None

I never implied that my BS died allot. I do strafe, I dont eginekill towards targets.
My complaint was that the RP behind it is farfetched, and seems to have been put in place to avoid having to worry about creating a new ship.
My main concern was finding a Cruiser I can get for the family, that'll be half decent.

Actually the RP is quite elaborate. We had a Corsair BS, but its hitbox was so screwed it was unfair for everyone fighting one that it had to be removed. Osiris was brought in afterwards as its replacement because of the already-established RP.

The Osiris is a fine ship, if its in the right hands you can take out there larger counterparts, its streamlined so if you go head on and straif it makes it very hard to hit, now if you look at the other battleships, there massive and very easy to hit.

The RP behind us having it isnt far fetched, at the of the story line the order had the osiris, thay started making it, us being very close allies is why we fly that ship and i wouldnt give it up for one of those big monstrositys if someone paid me tbh.

The only problem i have is our cruiser, that thing sucks in the most sence of the word, if only we had one, but the brotherhood compansates our lack of cruiser with our Gunboat which is good, but it would be a nice to have a cruiser that can be moved out of gamma lol

You think it would be exceptable for corsairs to fly one of these?

And whats the Talarca cruiser?

Ive never flown any of those 3 so i dont no what there like, but the brotherhood would probably stay as we are without the use of cruisers.

Well, The abatross MIGHT fit, the IMG stands against the Outcasts, so some shady agreement might well take place... Hoever, that ship isn't perfect either. Those fins on the sides make it a nightmare in dense rocks

screenie of what? I might have, I got a vast collection:DAnyways;

Theres a new Corsair Dready being made, so all of ya guys know, and I'm pretty shure it'll be integrated into the mod with the new Outcast Dreadnought. The Corsair dready was way outta whack because I looked at the hitbox via Hard CMP. Not a big advantage. But, as far as the Huntress goes, big and bulky, but in the right hands, death on a stick.

Course I'd just stick with a Corsair Gunboat, big enough to be a friggin cruiser, and with 8 turrets, its cwazy. good armor and maneuverability make it an excellent ship for taking out most anything.

Although I say the Kusari Destroyer is much better XD Size of a Rheinland Gunboat, cheap, good armor/bots/bats and maneuverability makes it a verrry nice ship. course the bad thing bout it is....well, I'll let you find out cause then you use it against me XD

my 2 deneli

signature goes here once its done!

Well, this is the Alby...

You can either love or hate it. Love for the firepower, hate for the asteroid handling

Thanks for the screeny, looks pretty nice.

I wish there was somewhere where theres a list of ships with the screenshots, you carnt really tell what ships look like without buying them and there quite expensive so.

Yeah, would be a great addition to the discoveryFL portal.

I myself before laying my hands on hardCMP used to turn on open SP with 2 bil credits, starting on or near a abse, where the new/not yet known ship was sold. Takes time though...
