Tricking people or getting out of situations that would be impossible to get out from if I didn't do what I did. It makes me feel proud.

Example would be the encounter with two indie pirate bombers in omega 3.
They were out to get me, so I invited an gunboat to come with me. We roleplayed him coming there to a meeting, and then fleeing from the scene when the pirates appeared on map.
I roleplayed frustration and screaming at the gunboat while he fled to 15k away from me. When two bombers engaged, I flied approx 10k from the sun, barely reaching the corona, and invited the gunboat back.

Close calls are awesome too. Docking to Gran Canaria after being chased from Dublin by two bombers is always a thrilling thing. Seeing that last SNAC that should have taken you out fly past you is something delightful.

Escaping pirates with Kishrio, or generally entering a system where you know they will be waiting for you.

Running/Evading pirates, I've only ever been caught a few times.
One of those times I destroyed a Corsair bomber with my trader in Omega-3.

I like this topic. You can see how people appriciate a (dated) game about spaceships.

for me it would be:

- running from an angry horde of lawfulls in my P train whilst smuggling.

- fighting someone who is equally good as me. nay, equally bad as me I should say, in a fighter. always cool to fight on the edge and STILL explode in the end:P

- but the real nr 1 are fleet battles. from the moment the fight is brewing and you know all hell is about to break loose to the part where the last ships explode. that is just so damn cool.

-When someone tries to run and has only 5% hull left and I move in for the kill while his 3 buddies are behind me shooting me.

Exploration is something I truelly love...seeing things that you can think that no one else has seen...but I have a feeling that this is a more action oriented thread.


Bombing a battleship with another bomber is so much fun...I've always loved that feeling of going up against a capital ship and knowning that there is a chance you can actually take it down. When a big boat goes down by your own hand it is just so satisfying.

Also when you get into fights and win with a LF...that is great too, I swear I love my Scimitar so much.

Pirate encounters as a trader, either way I know I'm going to blow up since I never pay more than 1 million.

But it's still fun to be a total douche and insulting to the pirate.

PVPs, as much as I despise them, are strangely thrilling to me too, especially because of the 4 hour rule.
