and, "why so much??", you ponder.
Well, I shall tell you why.
Because, purchasing a system is expensive, as most of you know. A system is needed to house our new Temple of Eris Esoteric. And not just any system. The TAZ will apply to purchase Baffin.
It is the system where the ELF "went to ground" long ago, to await guidance from Eris on their future;
It is the system that the Free State of Fernando Poo wished to purchase for their home, to be neighbors and allies with the original Colonial Remnant who wished to purchase Coronado;
It is the system where the "Fishin' Fool", aka Malaclypse, discovered the terraforming proto-nomad organisms known as the "Scrubbies" Shoals of them still float in the remote gas clouds of the system;
It is where, one fateful evening, Malaclypse attempted to end his service to Eris, and his life, by flying his "sampan" into the dim orange sun. His attempt failed. It promptly (well, not so promptly..) spit him out. Eris was not having any of his resignation;
It is where Malaclypse recently discovered a huge, hollow planetoid within the Scrubbie gas clouds. This planet is actually a ginormous geode, with thousands upon thousands of tall crystal spires lining the interior. Crystals that attract, focus, and emit the energies of the Universe across an entire spectrum;
And, for that reason, it is where our Temple must be built. This magickal place has the power to evolve an individual physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is a gift from all the Gods to all mankind; and Eris has been chosen as its Keeper. The new Temple of Eris Esoteric will be her "Keep".
To design this Temple, we have begun certain magickal rituals to summon a well-known "architect" from the past, a Master Mason known to some as "Hiram Abiff" . The resultant costs of this summoning process are also enormous ((he doesn't work "cheap"..)).
The [~V~]Hiram.Abiff must also be constructed. This great construction vessel will oversee the building of the "Pineal Ranch" orbital Spa and Resort, as well as the structures outside and within the "Goddess' Geode".
