It looks better then the current Havoc. The current Havoc just looks like crap.

Also, those two thingies on/behind the wings, are those engines too?

Hey, to be frank I'm not too fond the thing either. Like I said, it was done by request for Ageira. I figured I'd post it anyway rather than letting it go to waste entirely, though.

There have been more and more unneeded replacements recently, its almost as if people simply do not want anything new...

How exactly am I supposed to do that when new ship submissions have been closed until .87?

Although this model looks kinda fine, I believe the Havoc needs nothing more than a Texture Replace. The ship itself is more or less a good model, but the low res Texture kinda ruins it all! Also Dark Green texture gives it a more 'Rheinlandish' look than an Ageira Model. Maybe a Texture close to Civi or Liberty Line would do?

The current design is good. It's integrated now so the new version is gonna have to look somewhat like the old version. Cockpit needs a change, needs to be retextured. Something similar to the virage, but without the god damn gundam extras.

I think your proposal has some merit. The "body" definitely is unique, but has some Freelancer style.
The only thing really buggin me are the very simple triangular wings.

I think the look would improve if you made the wings more "folded", closer to the body. Also, tilt them a bit. Something like the aircrafts on the left in this picture:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...F_Wasp_1942.jpg
Only they are not "folded" to save space, but to provide protection for the body elements inward as well as sporting a forward-facing gun hardpoint on it.
It's hard to tell from the perspective, but I think the front region seems a bit too large (or the rear too small). The huge intakes on the front make the vessel look very ...blocky. Perhaps size them down? Or - combined with the "wing-folded" : Make the outer side of the intakes diagonal, hugging the armor wing. Makes the vessel look more dynamic.
And if the vessel is too long (as said, perspective...) just shorten the middle section a bit. That combined with changed wing layout should make the vessel look more nimble.

Uh, I fear you won't understand what I'm trying to suggest anyway. Sucks trying to explain something like that in a non-native language...

and yes, the current model for the Havoc is completely unfitting for Freelancer/Disco in the model layout (though the model itself ain't bad) and especially the texturing.

I now see the striking resemblance between a Havoc MK2 and a F14 Tomcat.

I demand a remodel. But the proposed one just doesn't cut it, sorry.

That's an F-15 Eagle. The Tomcat has swing-wings.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
