It totally ****ed him up.
He became a mean alcoholic.
Only time I spoke to him was when I had phone duty and he asked to talk to his son. When I looked his son he wasnt in his room and I told him that, and then the guy started screaming into the phone and told me he'd come over to hit me in the head.
His son told me what ****ed him up like that was that in some african campain he had orders to shoot anyone who crossed a certain line. There were women and children fleeing across that line, and he shot them too because he was ordered to.
His son later dropped out of highschool and became a drug addict and dealer.
Thats pretty much all I know about the french foreign legion, but enough to know that I aint joining.
thats something he needed counselling for.
i know several people in the FFL, and i have to say learn perfect french beforehand. it will help if you know how to shoot, read a map, drive, dive, and have superb physical fitness.
