allright, buffalo might be a bit far off - but about overkill, i just remembered the scene when the Liberty navy attacks the research lab in the badlands. they were pretty much capwhoring at that time. 2 fighters to destroy - and they came with 3 cruisers and one fighterwing. ( allright, its singleplayer - and they wanted to blow up the station, too - but even so, the navy does not show us that they need to care much for a resourceful handling of their forces )
I can see, where this pvp whore in NY will lead. I think admins wont bother themself to sort this out with every player. They will just turn of pvp again. Sorry for all RP interested people, but its the only way to fix it again.

They should loose ship, weapons, goods and credits and put in a Starflea to start as a noob.
While personally I agree they shouldn't have been shooting in things in Bretonia and wasting our bloody resources, it isn't our place to judge. Who knows, maybe there was a reason for it. The only ones allowed to point fingers are the Admins.
And I can understand the Cruisers in that sequence, they're a fast, mobile ship, but the Liberty Dreadnought's a Battleship. Mobilizing that thing is a MAJOR military operation. They shouldn't have been able to procure one that fast and bring it into the heart of the Badlands on a whim like that.

If the admins have an issue with people in oorp capships in NY then please deal with them on an individual bases.
The LSF does a great job rping in NY in my opinion. Please dont punish us for other players being goofballs.
As for the Liberty Dreadnaught...unless they were chasing a ton of bad guys to buffalo..I dont really see a need for it to be there.
Also, I do not know any LSF agents with a Dreadnaught. The biggest ship I thought we had was a BattleCruiser not a BS. I could be wrong..it happens often.:)
I don't have any problem with lawful forces coming to unlawful bases...
on a short visit (hit and run) and with ships that fit the role.

Liberty Dread is definitely NOT the ship that fits that, especially when it's the only LSF online.
The LH were nicely roleplaying in NY, pirated a few traders at the trade lanes, shot a few mercs that went to attack them.... and then suddenly a Dread. + Kusari Destr. comes to buffalo and starts shooting without saying a word. A bit of cold shover that was. Right after they came an independent Lane Hacker gunship started shooting traders in front of Manhattan. Some ships called that over system chat a few times. Yet the single Slipstream in front of Buffalo was obviously more important.
On a side note...
- the Kusari destroyer that was in group with LSF, had about 6 Nomad Turrets. *shakes head*
- the LSF bomber didn't had a tag. No tag at all... I didn't thought it was even possible when he has an LSF id.

One nice solution would be strong pirate NPC patrols close to pirate bases. Just like 4k around, group with a destroyer and a few lvl 19 fighters. Even in Liberty lawful planets have these patrols.
I think PVP in NY is mostly positive. I was away for 2 weeks right after it got turned on and it's a huge difference now with most people in NY actually role playing. And it reflects itself in other systems too. As RM in New Berlin I see a lot less OOC chat, people actually listen to the RM , talk with them and the like.

Oh, i like to have RP in NY with PvP on, but a few can spoil the fun of the mass. If admins will clear misbehavior of these few with each single one, good.
The problem is, when the PvP whore without any RP or cheap RP will rise, PvP will be turned of quickly, i guess.
The community must deal with it, before this point may come.
LSF the wise is a liberty dreadnaught and in this case he was the man in question. As I have stated before. He was in texes and we received word of a major lane hacker attack in liberty. Sure enough on the chat screen it stated that pretty much there whole guild was in NY. I was in Rhineland taking care of business and I order all ICO members to head to NY and hook up with the wise to prepare for a counter attack to push them out.
Considering every major attack agenst liberty lately has involved at least 2 battleships this is why a LI dred was their. According to my men when they got in the sys they tracked one of the fleeing LH to buffalo. Upon arriving 2 additional LH craft where departing buffalo. And commenced to base hide. One of my men told him if he leaves he will be attacked. from their, 3 lane hacker fighters left buffalo one was kill as he was leaving and he started to complain about dock killing. The other two where engaged in normal combat. Now instead of running lake a normal person should do when faced with enemies they could not beat, they stood and fought and got smacked down for fighting a fight they couldnt win. Was it fare no. but did I tell the LH to start using souly LF? No. they have access to bombers and caps of their own instead of complaining start changing with the times.
The LSF SA ICO and others are using caps more and more because the order and the corsairs cant seem to go anywhere without a swarm of caps. ICO is a cap heavy faction. I like flying a big gun craft. My members like flying big gun craft and we are not going to custom taller are forces to fight every single faction in the game. Caps have a head time killing fighters. Fighters cant kill caps. Bombers can eat caps if piloted right. If you dont have any caps and bombers then stop trying to engage other caps then whine when you lose. You chose to fly a mosquito this has its strengths and weaknesses. Live with them and I am sorry if somebody brings a rocket launcher to a card game.
OVERKILL is still dead. And every military in the world uses the full capabilities of the military might when it is approite. I dont care if it is 3 tanks from WWII and a stuffed dog with C4 on it I would send every plane ship and soldier I had to crush them in quick order. We are rping a war and war is not fair by any means. Now stop using OORP as a shield and just live with the life the game itself makes. Despite what you want to believe this game is well balanced and made if you die because you handicap yourself their is nobody to blame but you. And I will not give up my BC because you want to live in a world of fighters.
On the flip side I do not approve of simply routinely sitting outside somebodys base and waiting for them to come out, pvp whoring and trying to ensure victory are to separate if blurry things. But from what I hear this was not the case. Oh and as for the wise getting into the badlands all I can say is it was a little slow and he is an excellent pilot.
If I die bury me with a rocket luancher, and a shotgun. I am going to have some house cleaning to do.

Well Virus was told on Skype what awaits him outside... don't you think he's experienced enough to start evading as soon as he has the controls? He was dock killed... no question about it.

The point was that you cannot beat LF with a dreadnought and destroyer either.
