The ship was skip Star not skinn (i wear clothes when i fly) and i was shot by Players. I am trying to Play a smuggler not just breaking laws Because im low lvl, and a couple of things I would like to understand about smuggling, Why on earth would / should i get a smuggler ID its a PLZ kill me sign on my ship, and Why Not have a missleading Ship name like lsf-Transit Yes that is me. as for rp on Fourm it confuses me where to look and put stories, and it not help I 1finger type and have ZERO comp skills.
I dont PVP because I stink at it and, I enjoy Flying around Just tradeing and chatting with others, and Disco has PLENTY of UBER cops and pirates that are Trigger happy "Halt or DIE--2Mil or DEATH" that kill you and say "READ the RULES Im aloud to kill you if I want to."
so i decided to try a smuggler that is a 1 kill charracter, to see if i could runn smuggler 24hours without getting killed 18hours so far:)and his RP is to Pretend to be in the lsf Transport wing. He will tell you he was busted down to the transport wing for dateing a Captains daughter or he Wrecked his GB running into a BSand got Demoted. and If and when the real =LSF= find me out they will do what real cops do when they find a FAKER they will kill me or put me in Jail.. BUT I bett I get my 24hours and 5mill first then ill buy a doughnut shop and get Rich off the =LSF= and LPI, Capship Traffic cops lord knows we got plenty of them.
I do have a faction char [LC]Mercury a trader BUT Im prety much alone the other factoin members are only on 2-8 hours a week,on weekends, I fly 6-14hours a day and get a bit Bored getting atacked by Uber pirates because the [LC] Escort team is at school.
so I will continue to run smalltime Smugglers that are 1kill characters.eaven if it appears to some that im OORP,, at least Im makeing Effort to play not just be a Capship cop or UBER Pirate,soo IF any of you RP snobs Actualy want to give me some tips on what faction or group i can run with dose NOT include Capships or shooting I would be happy to Play with others and not just skirt the edges and hope that I not get called aOORP loser again today:P

RedElf the reason you should use a smuggler ID is for correct RP. It also allows you to use pirate transport ships. And it makes no difference anyhow.... the police scans you and catches you with a hold full of cardy, it doesn't matter what your ID says.
I don't understand what you're getting at. You carry drugs and contraband, what do you expect, the LPI to just ignore you and eat donuts? If you are a smuggler, it's your job to see if the law is hanging around, and if so, change routes and head up to Rochester or w/e. Take a hit to time and profits -- that's life.
People are griping coz it seems, under-level characters are taking advantage of the rules to transport cardamine (or w/e) right under the noses of the police, and they can't do a damn thing about it. To most people that's flaunting the rules and not proper RP.
It seems to me Red you have the makings of a good character.... maybe you should make the effort and post it in Stories. It doesn't have to be a Pulitzer prize winner.
The only problem is, what you are doing is quite oorp. You are using the fact that lawfuls can't attack you when you are under level 30 as an loophole.
