The Hessians are moving to become more independent from the Outcast influence and are not letting up on their hostility with the Corsairs. Meanwhile, the unioners are drifting away from the Hessians and getting closer to the Corsairs.

There was a sig here, once.

Hmm, actually the question is...what is holding the Hessians and the Dragons back from actively spanking Outcasts?

...aside from old alliances?

Both are revolutionary groups, that at least on the paper want to constitute a stronger/independent/you name it government and think they are doing it not only from themselves but also for the people of their houses, who surely need THAT new kind of statesmanship and don`t even know it yet. What boths group don`t want is more foreing influence or rulership in their houses....and guess what Outcasts do with their cardi? Indirectly controlling those who are addicted.
....ergo: spread cardamine equals to losing grasp on your own population to a foreign power, dangerous isn`t it?

As the Dragons have a real chance of knowing the Outacst-Nomad connection via the Order, that might make them even a bit more concerned afterall....

I'm sure I read a news card in a bar, seen it on a few stations. I believe the reason why Hessians do not like outcasts any more is that they thought the Outcasts attacked one of their ships in the Omegas, even though the Outcasts have never or will never go to the Omegas (that is what the card reads). That is as much as I know.

Nope, Sabres are Border World tech so can be bought on the civilian and black markets.

I'm not sure why that rephack is set... probably was done at some point at the RHA's request after a bunch of Outcast ID'd players were launching out of their bases (to attack the Sairs from Omega space or something, I'm not sure).

I'd say it makes sense for Hessians and Outcasts because of the bad blood between them, but generally there are a lot of rephacks that prevent interactions. One good example is the Bundschuh, who cannot dock in any house - obviously Rheinland makes sense; there has been positive lore for 4.86's release between them and Liberty yet the ID is as a pro-Rheinland faction; Bretonia and Kusari have no real interactions with the Bundschuh but getting more supplies would be nice; Gallia would not have heard of us at all yet we couldn't even think about RPing some trade there even if we agreed with it.

The Dragons are focused on Kusari internally. Actively going out to cause trouble with the outcasts would annoy their allies, the Golden Cryssies. I think that Dragons would interfere with Outcasts only when the OC start to be troublesome inside Kusari space, but beyond that not care much about them.

The Outcasts and Hessians do not have an overlapping ZoI, so those groups would rarely meet. They have no real interest in fighting eachother, Hessians are focused on Rheinland, the OC have no presence in Rheinland.

True, but it's generally agreed that the Outcasts were the original designers of the Z-line. Still, since the Hessians have a full native shipline now, the question of ship supply has become moot.

Reason for that is very simple: Any faction that does piracy (is allowed to, by ID) wouldn't be welcome at the trade ports of the houses being targeted. It's kind of enforcing rule 6.10 on a faction level, not to mention to keep factions within their own ZoI a bit. If you are there for the roleplay, there's usually a Freeport or Junker base available.

We ( OC ) don't have a lot of allies, so it is still vistal for us to maintaine presence at those locations ( smuggling through RH space is very rare, and we have no interst there most of the times ).

So AD , does that mean that hessians can't go to gamma, or does that mean that OC can't go there?

But actually what i ment in my original post is that if i were a hessian or a dragon and would find any oc in my area i would cry "Die corrupter of my people, die slavng alien!" and go all out^^
...sure neitehr of those two would fly to Alpha to show their love ...but still...

Technically, the OC can go there (Omicrons is their ZoI), but the Hessians shouldn't (Omegas/Rheinieland is their ZoI). However, I doubt anyone'll sanction anyone for it. As for the OC near Rheinland - given the OC have a presence at Yanagi (and a base of their own in Sig13 in 4.87) there's an option for them to smuggle things in, usually to the junker base at Kreutzfeld.
