I don't think you'll ever get a proper Hogosha rep as a GMG ID'd character. The main problem here is a Hogosha base in front of New Tokyo, which is actively hurting GMG players. That is something the Kusari government could (and probably should) put the hammer on. Openly firing on trade vessels in New Tokyo orbit could cause the entire Hogosha syndicate to be declared unlawful - it's quite frankly, silly.
Try to assign consequences. Make excrement hit cooling device and all that...

Has there been an official complaint to the Republic of Kusari?
I informed at least one passing trader of this as he complained on his way through.
He claimed it wasn't worth the effort, so I chuckled and moved on.
An InRP complaint must be made before the government will take any InRP action.
Complaining OoRP will get no where.

hire agile escort ship to draw the base fire batteries then undock and go home without even getting shield dmg.
Ryoken fellow you are around since a lot of time and you should know all small dirty tricks instead ruining your rep or write transmissions to some shady gentleman.
Also kudos for the BDS for the smart move.

Bla screw it. Not worth the effort to even play here anymore. The day to day players will always get special treatment. Completely OORP BS like this base will always happen if you know people(IE having both lawful/unlawful chars that just somehow trade bases). It is becoming to much like all the other failed Freelancer servers. Just a power gaming til we chase the others away server.
Your right Govedo13 i have been here since 2006, I have taken a few small breaks, but have chars with over 1000hours on them. I have supported many, got many started in past, funded factions with billions, but no matter what the server is going to the power gamers steadily. It has gone from my most favorite game/past time, to well....this! I come on, find out my chars are now useless due to power gamers shutting down bases/systems/factions/ships whatever. It is no longer "FREELANCER" or "DISCOVERY" it is kiss someones ass, or you cannot play here. It is kiss someones ass to play a certain faction/group. It is kiss someones ass to play certain ships.
I am betting before long even police/navy/corps will be off limits unless you kiss someones ass to join them. It is sad, and killing what was once the best game server on the web.
Admins/mods you can lock this. I no longer care enough to even discuss this anymore. I will just delete another char that has had his RP fracked by the power gamers.
Just saying.. Itabashi doesn't shoot ALL gaijins. Only the ones we really hate (the ones with red hogosha rep).
As for your little contribution, AeternusDoleo, we're not the farmers, and the government won't do a thing about this. There is money in the right pockets, inRP and ooRP, and Hogosha will NOT be turned unlawful.
Unless ofcourse you're looking for a way to retcon the entire hogosha faction. And that sure is what you've been building towards as devs. We'll keep fighting to prevent this.
As for the GMG person. One way off the planet, is to unmount your ID, mount a recruit ID, go to the bar and find a man in a suit, offering a bribe, then go to your own space where you belong.
And then don't come knocking in new tokyo again. As the NPSs like to say.. "We don't like your kind around here, Gaijin."

Well, haven't post anything in the forum since i started to play on this server. Actually, I haven't played for much long time. Yet, seeing this thread I got the same feeling. I also sold my bretonian train to the NPC, because i can not pass new tokyo safely. Since I haven't keep up with the information on the forum, the station appeared all of a sudden. Later on I found out the info about the base. And I delete the character and make a new start, I just stay out of all these rep fixing, for the fear of someday there might be another Itabashi station on my routine trade way. So i get one corp rep merely friendly to buy its ID, and leave the rest untouched, I don't know if it is against the rules. Having checked the rules, it seemed ok whether you got the IFF or not. Sometimes you want to complain, that's normal thing. For me, I don't like the way the base being built, but it is none of my business. This is a free to play server, they got rules, got admins and contributors. I played it for nothing, if someday i can't stand it, just leave it. So, I agree with you.

As a bretonian you're lucky you can pass through Kusari at all since it is illegal for just about any bretonian ID to enter kusari aside from one. That said you can buy a hogosha bribe on just about any samura base and on new tokyo itself.

I wasn't using a bretonian ID. I used the Interspace commerce ID, well I knew it was not right. But at that time, I was a totally noob. And fortunately for me, no one stopped me for a liberty corparation using a bretonian train. I had the thought of keeping good/neutral relation with all the house authorities for a better trading environment, but it turned out to be a joke.
