Did you specifically try to see if the banking speed is variable by only changing the Z- speeds ? As far as ursus tests went, this was not the case

Yes, it is variable by only changing the roll acceleration as expected. Easiest way to test it is to drop the inertia and make the bank angle something that will be noticeable straight away (like 90 degrees for example, which means the ship will be able to go 45 degrees to either side). Too low values will make the FL physics engine freak out, so for simple no time test just change the inertia to like 1 and watch the ship go crazy upon any kind of turn.

Very interesting, this is a completely new variant i never heard before - i should really collect all this stuff and post a "how the engine works" thingy or something - thanks for the input Blodo, much appreciated!!

Of course this is a problem as it makes that stat very ship and size dependent and not equal across the board....then gain if you normalized the banking angles within the ship classes....ah well, this leads way off topic Big Grin
