Are you able to repair these modules of existing damage done, or is it a set amount of damage that needs to be done with no repair to the module possible?

Would it be possible to make them run on some sort of "Fuel" that needs to be resupplied? This would require a more active participation on the part of the faction placing the unit. I am thinking of people placing them to disrupt smuggling close to major planets (Think Manhattan as an example), where it would be very hard to destroy because of planetary defenses. Having to "Fuel" them would give the odd chance that even thought they are in place, the may not be working for lack of fuel, and thus level the playing field for smugglers.

Just a thought.

No, they are one time deployables.
