[BD] tag is really up for grabs now I think. The Black Dragon society (Hogosha faction using now [|] tag) used to have [BD], which IMO was a poor choice to begin with since [BD] instantly brings in mind the Blood Dragons.
To my knowledge there might be still [BD] named characters around, but I personally don't think it will be a huge problem.
So @croc: Even though wiki lists the the BD is listed as Blood Dragons, it is only because I remembered the tag and put it there. By mistake. I'm sorry about the mess. This is exactly the reason why we need sharp eyes to read the wiki and spot the mistakes.
What I suggest you to do is that you start working on the BD faction using the [BD] tag and see if anyone complains. Keep the issue bumped and get a lot of visibility for [BD] tag. Maybe the original poster could change the topic to include the [BD] tag as well so people will notice. And possibly complain if they have a problem with the tag now "belonging" to this new group.
I'll change the wiki page to reflect the unclear situation, so nobody can make the mistake again...
A lot of people in this thread seem to have difficulty reading.. As has been said, the [BD] tag is already taken. I'd suggest if you want a Blood Dragon, join BD or NovaPG. We don't need a third group, and I think BDW is still around.
I really don't see much necessity in another BD faction. The NovaPG do a bang up job, and even if you don't think they play the "main Dragons" enough, who cares? Details.
And anyways, the KNF isn't the most active faction. And when they are active, they've got Bretonia to deal with. Another Dragon faction isn't needed for gameplay.
HG after alot of hassle, and such did indeed merge with NovaPG again.
Now, NovaPG are well... now the closest thing you can get to a dragon, we don't pirate (much) we are currently descussing some extreme changes one's alot of people WILL not like for some reasons, and some people will absolutely adore, for those that wont like them... they dont know BD rp very well, for the ones who will like them, then you know BD well.
To sum things up, NPG are no longer hessians our leader is now very much kusarian, and very much a blood dragons, the old leaders are dead, gone, capoot, fenito, deceased, not here. The old name stays, for the exact same reason we did not follow the HG, NovaPG's name WILL live on. This is not out of stuborness nor RP, This is for the sheer principal of it. Alot of disco's history lies with the NPG, and the NPG's name will stay.
Out of curiosity, what does Nova Player Generation mean? And why is the term "player" used anyways? We get down on newbies for saying "player" and "game" in game, yet a deeply established faction uses it in their name?
my dear doubou Miagi, is gonna be changing it to Nova Pirate Guild though soon enough, just to make it a bit more believable while keeping the NovaPG tags to keep the memory going.
And by christ if thats what people thought the "P" stood for in NovaPG, No wonder folks where moaning.
