We have been mining in the Pennsylvania system, at the Coordinate ( E , 3 )
Philadelphia Station, approximately 16-20K to a tradelane that leads to it,
buys the helium for 700$ per tonne.
a fully laden Mining Ship that can carry 2750 tonnes, would gain 1,925,000$ if it worked the fields all by itself, and sold it.
However there are certain expenses for moving such vessels, so it is cheaper to have transports haul the helium off in smaller portions.

On the matter of your "sword" Axcoyatl, You can keep it,
I simply prefer to carry a Custom-built, Semi-Automatic "Charger" Ion-Pistol,
for personal protection whilst on a station or planet, or if a ship of mine is boarded by another party,
who could be hostile...

*storms into the HMi office*

I came as soon as I could. Fair Mr. Miles - thou art a cabbage, and one hit with a spatula to boot. I'm sorry, but there we go. I find the way you threathened some pirate last time he happened to stroll around quite unappaling, and frankly - while the mentioned pirate might have been planning to cut into our profits or hulls - your harsh actions are very likely to mess with the very Hodge and Podge in unpleasant ways. As such, I find myself unable to condone whatever it is that you are planning to do.

Consider this my verbal letter of resignation - while we may very well trade in the future, do not, I repeat - do not consider me to be under your employ. You shall find your ship funds returned to you within 24 hours.

Good day to you, sir. Oh, and if you are not a cabbage, then clearly you are something else.

*tips hat* *leaves*

Mr. Ojai,

I have done some research and the result seem to be in your interest. Your mining operation in Pensylvania yields close to a 2 mill profit on a full miner shipment. In my previous experiences (//I have not returned to Colorado yet), I have found that a load of silver from Colorado yields around 3.5 million if sold at Planet Erie. In my researched I focused on one major aspect of gaining profit: time. I found that the time it takes to mine and transport your helium is almost identical to the amount of time it take to mine and transport my silver (//I have yet to double check that piece of info, but it was true on my last trip). So, as you can see, it would be in your interest if you were to shift over to mining in the Silverton Astroid Fields of Colorado.

I hope that this research may prove to help you,
~Joseph McKryzen

This is interesting news indeed, Mr. McKryzen.
Thanks for the tip.

Also... We wonder if perhaps our companies could fuse, into a larger, more guided Corporation? and we could share information amongst ourselves...

"Heavy" mining industry seems... an unoriginal name.
Add a name in front of it? Like, Dauman Heavy Industry, idk how would you name yours.

I guess it would be libertonian based... but I have no name to suggest right now.

Here we go, this took one of my miners just under 25 minutes to depart from the station, mine, and return to sell:

Edit:// PS: your traders are wondering why they have not seen you online recently.

@ Yue Fei, We are (or try to be) Sector-neutral, any House-Specific naming could anger some factions if they are at war with our House of Origin...

@ Mr. McKryzen, We have been busy researching further routes, and gathering up documentation for our corporation, as we intend to get a Business license* at some point.

*//A Faction Post.

Also, Copper from the Copperton field sells for roughly the same amount at a planet a trade lane away...

I tried out the copper fields that you told me about and was disapointed. I took me 20 minutes to fill up not even half of my hold. That is around 4 times as long as it takes to mine silver.

It is my belief that we would be able to make money if we had a group of traders that used lower level trading vessels such as the csv or the rhino/grizzly move silver to Erie from our mining vessels. From what I have seen so far, this is the best option.

I propose that we have a spokes person that goes into the systems such as NY and Pennsylvania and recruite pilots for traders (I will volunteer to do this job, it will get me out of the fields for a while). We can then offer to set them up with CSV's so that they can begin trading for us. If my memory serves me correct, one can get a csv at Manhattan and set it up for around 100k. For anyone who can afford to set up a miner, this should be virtually nothing.

Once we get the traders going, they will come to us and buy the silver off of us for around 600k a ton. This way, both the traders and the miners make money (about 1.7 mill every 10 minutes for the miners if trading goes well).

Another thought: I have a friend who is close to getting a Luxury Liner. Since it takes about the same time to transport the goods as it does to mine them, we could have him move the minerals to their destination while we supply them. Although this does not allow new players to become dedicated to our cause. I will contact this friend and see what his thoughts are.

I will look into what it takes to set up a CSV or Rhino for new players. I will also look into how much cargo the CSV and Rhino have so that we can advertise the profit the will make.

So, from what I have found, they have recently upgraded the Rhino frieghter. It now has more cargo space then the CSV. This is perfect for us cause it is also half the price of the CSV, only 50k. Which will make it easy for us to provide vessels for our transporters (I found that the appropriate price for a fully equiped Rhino is only around 150k). This is also ideal for us cause it will help keep the transporter's lvl down lower, hopefully lower than 30, so that they won't fall suspect to pirates. The Rhino only has 225 cargo, so we will have to have multiple running at once to make a decent profit. If the transporters are using Rhinos, then they will make around 148500 credits per trip.

Now, please let me know if you are interested in my proposal from the last post.
