Also, from the patch notes it seems the planned start point for the Libertonian squadron is gone. I haven't had a chance to look at the system for a replacement yet.

Perhaps just have the Battleship go the other way? From Denver to Gunnison. That'd also make sense, with Carrier Ohio being relocated

I think the navy fighters can just be on patrol passing Planet Gunnison when the event starts, that way they have a chance to intercept the attackers before they reach firing range.
