The routes make sense, no doubts. But the low profits completely discourage roleplay such as:

- traders paying up instead of blowing up
- escorts getting hired and properly paid
- miners.. well.. mining
- corruption - how can you have corruption when it takes friggin' weeks to pile up some decent amount of cash

( dons fireproof suit ) I personaly dont have a problem with the new economy. My Gateway Trader makes enough to get by on, and on occasion make some creds too.
I used to pay escorts 1.5/2 mill in 4.84 and i still do so it is still worth me hireing escorts for the route. And as for the six mill or die comments, ill just hire 3 escorts instead, all worth it in my book for the rp :D
Lets remember that tradeing is for the rp as well folks not just the powertrade to get the big shiney gunboat to pirate in or cruiser to pewpew with.

I like the new trade routes; it was too easy to get too much money too fast in the older mod versions.

Now, people will actually take their time and enjoy trading.

My only complaint is that there is not enough smuggling going through Bretonia.

Of course it isn't Divine. But that's because you're looking at trading the wrong way. Your ultimate goal is to make as much cash is frikkin possible, which makes trading nonenjoyable when you meet hitches and such. You have to look at it as exploring, and just filling up your cargo hold with stuff and taking chances, not so that you can fund the 5 other characters on your account.

Give it time. It's the new mod, just chill and have a good time exploring and docking on random bases.

diablo, i have some fighters,that use missiles, i have gb, dread+few other ships that need money for ammo.

can you say me,how i am able to suply them?
because when i make 3-4 fights then i must trade 3-4 hours .
+count there rl issues, work and so,and you see,that i have less an less money....
andi think i am not alone

Divine you are on a roleplay server here.
This is not about abusing exploits.

I have helped the dev team to collect data in the pre new mod stated and i know by exploring the new routes that this all is very hard work.
Beside that, why do you need that much credits?
