Don't know unioners so well, but Rheinland is pretty patriotic really, yeah.

In my eyes you can't count the Unioners to the pure Rheinlanders nowadays. Sure, the history tells us, that they are from Alster Shipyard... but centuries passed and in my eyes they are some terroristic group who try to establish some kind of own nation within the independent systems. Could be false perhaps.

And yes, I will say it again: Hessians/LWB/VF would rather ally with the Rheinland lawfuls to kick foreigners, then attacking the Rheinland people and help the foreigners. Nationals for the win! I remember an incident in Stuttgart, when some mad Order Carrier commander wasn't willing to leave... RM and Hessians all around, sabre-rattling.

Result: The RM left with the words 'We didn't see anything' and the Hessians swarmed the Order capital vessel. Maybe we can gather some parts nowadays from Ronneburg.

Basically the tactic of intruding an enemy house and destroying it from within COULD work, but Rheinland is a special case. I bet the LR are noth that patriotic... but I will listen to Sindroms.:P

Yeah, I remember that. That was a nice moment. The Ravensburg was there, RHA, Hessian Tears, my LWB and a bunch of RM. All together as Rheinlanders against the unwanted foreigner, and all leaving in peace at the end.

Please re-read that ID description. It is completely paradox.

If they ally with Liberty lawfuls against Rheinland lawfuls, they would be in the situation, where they can ally with Rheinland lawfuls against a military invasion. You see the paradoxon?
