As for Destroyers and larger allowed flight in New York or Liberty itself, that is a rule of the now dissolved Council of Dons. And no, we are not capwhores, but we are a Militant Naval Piracy and we will make use of our Capital Class Vessels as needed. And no this does not mean there will be a huge fleet of ESS in Liberty everyday with ten battleships -

The new government has carried over the New York directive but it has some newer exceptions,
as far as a full out task force raid on Liberty, just ask the new gov, if it makes sense & is going to be rp'd well, shouldn't be a problem.
As for Eyvinds concerns, SOB use to send a small cap fleet ( usually 1 bs 2 or 3 dessies & a lotta fighters & bombers ) to Texas now & then to ditract LN, LNS, LSF & LPI. While we was busy slugging it out with them.. an average of 6 to 10 cardi smuggler could fly right in front of Manhattan on the way to rochester & not have a single shot fired on em.. Ahh the good ole days:)
In theory, Liberty vastly out numbers & out guns the Outcast. There would be no way the Outcast could single handedly wipe Liberty out, nor would it want to. After all Outcast goal is to get Liberty addicted to the Orange Dream. Yet Slapping their military around now & then can have it's advantages.
As for my input on the ESS group in whole, I like what you have sofar, your roleplay that I have seen with interactions with SOB was great & you have worked with new players to get their rp up to par. You have my kudo's & my hopes that you receive the goals you are after

I concur with the Outcast Commonwealth's new directive of having a Destroyer with escorts to fly with a medium to large sized convoy for Cardimine shipments. I think it is an excellent outlet for role play that has the possibility of involving a large group of factions in it on their travels. From Omicron Alpha all the way for the path to liberty for sale and back again. So many lawful factions would have the chance to interact with the group and so many different ways to go about confronting such a assemblage of vessels. From cops and navy trying to take them down to the average trader wetting his pants as they pass by and everything in between.
And affirmative on the every now and again event of an organized fleet into surrounding systems of new york. That is more of what we had in mind. We know full well that if we come down everyday with about 1 dreadnought, 2 dessies, 4 gunships, and 12 fighters that people will start to moan and cry and really it shouldn't be an everyday occurrence. There is more to do on the server. But from time to time we would like to have a vulgar display of power and punch LN in the nose or whoever would come to meet us. Besides, a fleet is harder to move around, especially in secret, than a couple of organized fighter wings raising hell.
We work hard to have what we have and to try to solidify our position on this server. We are constantly making adaptations to better fit in with the rest of the server and try to increase the overall harmony of it. We know that we are a unlawful group and a pirate one at that, so not everything that we do will leave a pleasant taste in everyone's mouth, but that is by far role play vs player actions decreasing from the server's harmony.

The Reapers of Sirius are no longer Outcast as I have read, unless something has changed. But I did read that from somewhere here on the forum. As far as I know this is current material. I am not sure myself where to place them on our faction rep sheet but from what I know they use Outcast territory and have a long held relationship with other Outcast factions so I place them as friendly. I remember when I used to fly with them a year ago, they were a good bunch.

Can't say anathing about your ingame act, as I have been away for rather long time, but as for what you've written, looks good.
Just be very cautionous about bringing anything bigger than fighter-class into Liberty, can be fast-death (Dreads all around me hel-*boom*) and trouble causing with other OC factions and Liberty unlawfulls.
And well, I'm always optimistic, when I see new Outasts faction, which looks serious.

Well, this looks pretty solid, though I've not had the best of relations with the [ESS]... I don't have any screenies, but I think the [ESS] should remember that Cardimine smugglers are not to be pirated, or those that bring slaves to Malta. Especially not when right outside of Malta. Also, please don't be elitist, as right now your unofficial faction has no control over non [ESS].
While I am not around at all times monitoring all things and I don't babysit my members like children, I do take responsibility for the actions of all of my members no matter the outcome good or bad. I am sorry if they have done some things against our stated character. I do try to inform my members of dos and don'ts and we have a strong forum through which we communicate privately to one another.
As for being elitist, it is stated in our very name. I don't want control over anyone, nor does my clan. Control would imply having to moderate some gaggle**** of outsiders and that is something I do not want. Don't be fooled by seeing us traveling heavy in freighters making our money. We have the resources to strike down our foes if need be. But at this juncture we are more interested in building ourselves than warring. In the future however, things will be stepped up greatly.

I remember a couple of weeks ago going through the chat list, and seeing [ESS]. And what I thought was the following: "Jesus Christ, not another noob Outcast faction." I don't know why I thought that, It's just my nature and shows what a real d**k I am (censored for all the little kiddies out there).
Reading this, I feel obliged to apologize. It definately has the story and organisation for a very respectable faction.
There are some small things however:
The ZAS isn't coloured in orange, you may of ended the coding too early or edited them in later and forgotten to include them in.
Fighter/Bomber tags. They're the same. Through my previous faction experiance, I strongly suggest you use different tags for fighters and bombers. People will most likely have a fighter and a bomber, so maybe [ESS][Char.Name] for fighters and [ESS][Char.Name} for bombers.
Private forums are rarely a good idea. They just complicate things when they don't need complicating.
In connection with the previous point, instead of using a private forum just get Skype. I was sceptical about getting it at first, but after I got used to it I've found it an invaluable resource.

I feel you on that. The Outcasts draw in a little of everyone, including nubs.
I appreciate your changed view after reading some of the information I have meticulously compiled here for everyone to read over. Our storyline is being revised and some additions will be made to it to increase it's depth and to add to the present day for some things that may take place in the near future...
I'm about to go to work so I will hold off on fixing the color code issue until after I get home later on. Maybe some other fixes will show themselves within this time frame and I can address them all at once.
I figured against having separate tags for Fighters/Bombers because one I couldn't decide to go... LF, HF, VHF, B; or to go... F, B.. And then it just seemed rediculous to me so I simply decided against having ship tags for anything smaller than a capital ship or specialized ship in our fleet such as an Armory, Bank, or Convoy. We already have Agent Tags, Shadow Legion Tags, and Recruit Tags, so it's getting a little crazy for adding 2-5 more tags to the naming convention.
Our private forum is a great way that we have been able to communicate openly, in private, no censors, and all thoughts laid out onto the table without the rest of the community of Discovery FL to see. And really, I don't think half the people would want to see some of our conversations that we have behind closed doors and the other half I don't want seen because of the subjects we discuss such as our plans, secret information, and other such things.. We are a secretive group and I'm sure there are quite a few that would love to be a fly on the wall of our forum.
