Meeting Gaians is always cool. I remember the first time I met one. Was pretty cool, Shadowcat iirc.
And I always lulz about the Kudos-Army.

And yeah, I am still running the same Route XD

The advantage of having Perth so close to the Gate is that the Gaian's rarely intercept you en route. I've found docking on Perth as they attack quite a good solution. As long as adequate RP is involved.

So no "ONOZ GAIAN!" Perth - f3f3f3f3f3f3f3f3f3f3f3f3

Keep the RP flowing and they should only really be angry with you in character.

Alright, i'm putting the word out for a Planetform reunion next wednesday. Starting at 3pm (GMT+/-0) until later into the evening. All you blokes in PFI feel free to come along. Any newcomers feel free to set up a Planetform Indie character, or if you feel like belonging add the tag Planetform| in front of your name.

Civilian Trains, Transports, Percherons and Clydesdales make the tag Planetform|Astrological Feature (e.g. Comet, Belt, Cloud). The Planetform| tagged vessels will not be flying Bretonian Trains or Shires as of yet.

The main task is trading and escorting. As well as getting to know the team we all hope to become part of.

If hardly anyone can make it then the time and date is up for debate.

...for more details.

Setup for new characters includes a grant of approximatley 25 million credits to set up a Percheron or a Train, or a grant allowing each escorter to purchase a vessel of their choice within Planetform Rules and Regulations. Armor Upgrades Mk VIII are currently being offered to the first three pilots/captains that apply.

Existing characters may also be accepted into Planetform| providing they fall into the following categories:

Ashie,

A thought just popped in. About a year or so ago, the two top trading factions were Gateway and RepEx. You could go in game and always see some of their ships. One of the reasons for Gateway's success back when Trev was running it was he actively recruited brand new Disco players.

He took it upon himself to have Gateway be the defacto faction that nubs could go to to get started. I haven't seen any faction take on that responsibility with any success since then. Key was that Gateway always had a ship in game that a player could contact and get setup with. Gateway members had keys to bank and knew the setup procedure. Good trade routes were spelled out in the message dump and/or faction status page. Bottomline, it was easy for a new player to get started in Gateway.

Be cool if Planetform could fill that void in our community. But it's a responsibility and not sure if you guys have the infrastructure and activity to be effective in that role. Worth pondering though.

Sass

That's an interesting point. I've recently set up a small clydesdale known as Planetform|Star that's quite loaded with dosh at the moment. The idea was i'd use it for recruiting purposes. I'm heading out to Pennsylvania as we speak. I had this in mind but wondered if it would effect the roleplay of the faction in particular recruiting new players that knew very little of the server.

Well, doesn't hurt being an Angel outside the Angels eh?

Thanks Sass
