ok that's weird mysteriously FL began to work again online
i did a cleanup(HD propreties) to simply make some space on my PC.
well it seem that a file(that has been deleted during cleanup) was maybe blocking my game.
right now i'm trying the game for the first time, maybe it wont work again after.
so I'll post to say if the tread can be deleted or not maybe in a few hours (less than 10)
If you're using the direct IP connect. Don't bother clicking on the Global server. When the box comes up asking what you would like to connect to, hit "LAN".
I also tried the game on a new Window user account but it didnt work
I have reinstalled the game and all the other FL related program several times( over 5times...)
I also checked my Window firewall and i have deleted the old allowed freelancer program(those that have been unistalled, All the time i have installer the games in different folder so)
OS: Vista
Problem: Was working fine this morning and then I loaded Norton IS 2008, and the new Vista Drivers for my printer. Now I get the same problem as King. I connect to the Global just fine but when I try to connect to the Disco server I get the standard "Could not connect message" I have disabled my firewall, changed the allowed programs list but nothing has worked... Could someone please help me.
