Sad news indeed.
I had wonderful RP encounters with your ships and my pirates. I agree that people seek PvP and action- it is space shooter game after all.But RP only faction or PvP only faction is doomed by the beginning in my opinion. The truth is in the balance of both. I hope that the devs will buff a bit the liners in 4.86 so they will be become harder targets for the Pirates. It is shame that Lux liner is exactly PvP able with P-trans right now.

I actually had an Orbital Yacht before I lost it to inactivity. I was going to see how I went with it and maybe consider joining their official faction. Now I wish I was a part of it whilst it lasted because it seems like it might've epitomised the true values of Discovery.
I'm more than sorry to read that notice, PanGal was one of the best factions on Disco ever and now they're all dead? That's so sad I can't even describe in proper ways.
I loved - the time I had a liner - to cross your paths and the RP in that situations. I will miss the PanGal fleet and her captains. Let's hope you'll be back soon, please do it.:(
The one and only time I ever caught a lux liner with people aboard while flying an Slavers Union tagged character was a PanGal vessel, and the RP I had with its captain more than made up for the countless hours I spent chasing liners and other passenger transports in vain.
This is truly disappointing, but I do see why it has come to pass.
