Funny you say that...
@Curious: Outcasts may have Wyrms, yes. But they are rarely used for being far inferior to Salamancas. In fact Salamancas are quite good since they actually sync with the according shieldbusters while the Inferno has to fired as a torpedo.

Only tizzies? PFAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA*snort*AHAHAHAHAHA
That's a good one.
Most people would kill for Tizzies. Some have. Salamancas ain't exactly bad either, they're still 4.00 particles even if the Outcast version is better. It's okay, because Outcasts don't get Tizonas, and if they use the Inferno you can slaughter them with ordinance. Or run.
Also, Gladiator. <3 that ship.
Also Legate if it's half as good as Montezuma says it is.
Outcast-Corsair balance is fine. I've played both and I've played against both, both of their newbies are easy to slaughter (for different reasons) and both of their crack pilots are quite capable of tearing you to pieces (for different reasons). I have noticed, however, that the easy counter against Corsair newbies is used by more Outcast players than the reverse... apparently the thing that beats Outcast newbies is too mind-bogglingly simple for people to think about.
