The quakes seem to be moving up the ring of fire. If this event continues there will be a great deal of destruction to come... Says the guy posting from California. Which I guess is going to be an island soon.

The officials said they can expect more quakes, in the following hours. The scholarships went down and their economy is currently in disarray. Now 1$ = 83.2 yen. They need immediate help... poor guys.

Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.

Damn. I've been keeping an eye on this all day and it's getting worse by the minute. Tsunami, ruins, earthquakes, a friggin' nuclear plant leaking 1000 times the radiation it's supposed to, tsunamis hitting hawaii and america's west coast, and a whole bunch of other stuff. What's even more troublesome is that they don't have power, and can't really do anything about the radiation leak from the plant. Today is not a cool day. :/

a very sad day for Japan. I do hope they'll succeed in rising from the rumbles :(

The thing is, if anyone in the world is well prepared for such things it's japan, the sheer magnitude of it was horrifying.

A tsunami of similar nature occured in 2004, just in a different place, death toll....was in hundreds of thousands. Japan's preparedness saved it from the worst.

Now let's hope for the best, hopefully japan gets on it's feet soon.

Also this earthquake is not just affecting Japan. The axis of Earth shifted 10 cm becouse of it...also the main Japanese island moved 10 cm...just hope that Chernobyl will remain the only nuclear reactor disaster in history.

Just read that there was some kind of explosion at Fukushima 1. Not in the reactor though. There's still some radiation that got outside, three people are irradiated.

Damn...
