I stuck with telekenisis because I' rather break a fall then know wheyher you want black or blue for your car.
You can only have magical powers if the person you're roleplaying with wants to believe it as well.
Otherwise you're just a nutcase.
Reminds me of the time a Wilde used it's mind powers to stop Jakes ship. Jake stopped his ship thinking "Oh this Wilde actually wants to RP." But the Wilde opened fire the second it got into range.
IMO it's better to stick with just normal human characters. It is possible to achieve unique while remaining ordinary.
You don't need magical powers or fur, you don't need to be an ace pilot or the 12 year old admiral of an order battleship with a cambridge university degree, or the princess of some gallic royal family.
I'll tell you what I tell everybody else. If you, or anyone else for that matter, tries to make me, or my crew, do something that I personally am not willing to go along with. Don't be surprised if my crew act hostile towards you, and possibly even fire on you (depending on how far you try to push your luck, or failure to aknowledge the refusal). All my ships have atleast 2 crew members per ship so I have someone who can RP take command of the ship if the main command officer is incapacitated in any way they can take over.

I love it how its immedietly think we or we will powergame.
Only two people can say I use my telekenisis ingame, maybe three?
Everyone forgotten about the sex crazed 5 year olds that took over a navy cruiser? Truthfully I say to you some pushed this to be factual for the sake of everyone's creative RP ideals. Sure thing...then let Gen ID's have caps. Cause they too can RP anything out of their rears that makes remote sense.
Furries, magic, and anything of that nature - Klingons...I just find it distasteful.
Superhumans? To me equal effects of cardi and genetically altered humans that don't expand outside the realms of what humans can actually do- much.
Strength- endurance increase.
Mental endurance- increased brain function.
Phycommu dictate of computers. (Brain waves controls receptors in a machine. Isn't voodoo or magic it's simple science fiction.) Basically used as combat systems in two way communication. The enhancing of strength is required to be able to handle the data moving in and out. Collective battle data gathered through out thousands of battles helps to create modes of prediction of battle movements. Thus creating a system where the pilot can take full advantage of the battle. Improved reflexes improved targeting, improved endurance.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R....awesome.
On topic: I see literally having such powers, without any kind of cybernetic assistance, in the same light as furry characters; they dont belong in Disco, at all.
Now, if you can believably explain it with implants (tractor beams for TK, energy beams for pyrokinesis, etc) I think I could stand it a bit more easily.
