Seriously. It's hard enough fighting off 2-3 bombers in the barge, let alone killing gunboats. At the very most I can handle maybe 4 bombers in my barge with a reasonable chance of killing them with my guns, but if you remove those I might as well pull a congress everytime I so much as see a hostile.

Actually, that 50-turret gunbarge is a nice idea. Mobile Fortress class capital ship anyone? Impossible to use in offensive operation due to 0 mobility level. 3m armor, 7 minutes charging 200max cruise speed. 20m/s normal speed.
And ALOT of lag due to those 50 turrets. Still, sounds fun. :D

i hope ppl will understand that:

we will NOT improve the barges self defense capability nor its ability to move around or jump to other systems. - if anything is done about it ... we will rather make it WORSE ( yes - thats right ) ... to discourage players from using it for trading even more and to discourage solo play with it even more.

the above is no joke.
