If you are a contestant, you will have been issued a Trader ID. Go read the server rules, regarding death and traders.
So it is up to you to make sure you comply with the rule. I.E: Die in your starflea = You need to comply with the 4 hour rule. Use the supplied start funds to get a freighter/transport/Liner = You can reenter the system you died in.

As listed in the event ruleset : ALL server rules apply during the event.
