True, but read the rules, and you will notice that same line. It is in there. Go ahead now. You can look. I know you can. Don't be afraid. The rules won't bite you.
6.9 The individual ID cards may have restrictions and/or allowance that are not covered by these rules. In the event of conflict, the ID's override the rules.
This goes for Faction rights as well. We are operating within the limits.

That is not your place to decide.
Need I remind you of the INTENT of Faction Right 2?
Quote:The intent of this right is to allow official faction leadership to also provide leadership, with discretion, to independent players, to improve server gameplay, fairplay, and roleplay.
Characters Alan Markson: The Hellfire Legion's Lord Commander The Perihelion: Freeport Four's guardian, and yet much more. Missing and assumed Lost with all hands. Eric Dresmund: Junker, smuggler, thief. Last seen drunk on Beaumont Vayrn Wyard: IMG Recon pilot turned Neo-Terran Captain. Last location unknown
Personally, I'm all for factions having more power than indies. It's the indie's choice not to join, and if they don't well, they live up with the consequences, their advantage being that they do not need months of roleplay to reach a rank to fly a capship. They can do it now, with limited rights.

Really? our choice not to join "The Factions" . Ok i "choose" to join Wild/Keepers/SCRA/Phantoms/[LN]/=LSF=/BAF/Congress,and maybe the sails. Since i just have to make the "choce" to join. I will start making the chars now.
I am sorry more to it then that, and some disagree with the way some factions follow 1 aspect of NPC play, and not others.
Also Indies have same "rights" as any other player on the server including faction players. This is just another example of those who join factions just to ge the supposed superior power.
/agreed with Dark. ITs over You lost agmen Now go away.

By choice, I obviously meant that, if you weren't a lazy cry-baby, you could apply for factions. And if you're perseverant enough, possibly get high enough of a rank to change the structures from the inside. That's the choice I was talking about.
