Ladies and Gentlemen, I call upon those who are interested to volunteer some of your time and help your community. The Space Traffic Control Commission (STCC), as we are henceforth calling ourselves, duty is to, as safely as possible, guide a trader from Point A to Point B via Group or Private Chat (for now it will be a choice, it will be standardized later).
To smugglers, we will cater to your needs as well, however, should a house authority ask an STC Operator (STCO), we are bound by law to give them details of the next system you are entering. This rule applies to Traders as well.

The purpose of the STCC is to inform Traders of current trade conditions of any House System in Sirius (pirate sightings, trade restrictions, etc). We will act as a medium between the trader and the local authorities by informing and dispatching assistance when needed. On top of that, the STCC will also act to inform all persons currently in Sirius the current safety conditions in Houses and Systems (Wars, Battles, hackers/cheaters, etc) and restrictions imposed by the local authorities.

However, the idea of an airtraffic control ( or more players just RPing) is awsum.

I would like to help with this idea. I currently have a AI character called the Sentinel.Kiosk that basically is designed to help people (link is my sig pic). It stays in orbit around Manhattan, so while I am not willing to add a STCC in my name due to name length constraints, I would like to help out by informing any traders about threats in the system.

Keep in mind, since my AI is in a mining ship, it will not be able to patrol lanes, escort traders, etc. due to its large size. It does make a dandy weapons platform though....

Unitll we see a major improvement in the messaging system, It's going to be hard for us to be useful in space. (we need a private message command that utilizes the /id$ and /ids commands or traders that are willing to join in the STC groups.) I see no problem getting us up and running, we could easy get sponsors to get us recongized officaly throughout Sirius (that sounded really in RP). Our main problem is day to day operation.
