The Xeno Alliance deserves Officialdom just as much as the other recently approved requests. Denying them what they earned over whatever opinions you hold regarding the Faction Leader shows that Discovery is based on personal standing and not merit.

I may find Reeves at times a bit of a jerk sure, but I can come off as such, everyone can. He is dedicated to the Xenos and is the driving force behind it.


If you find his behavior unfitting to lead the Xenos, then what's next? Will you begin removing 'problematic' leaders next? Ones who are rude or mean, or don't like a story direction?

Denying based on an unsanctioned person for unsanctioned behavior has never happened to my knowledge, and I am quite worried of what this means.

I guess I can double that. I definitly had my disagreements and fights with Reeves but that should stay out of anyones effort, RP, judgement wheter someone is fit or not. I definitly agree with what Jeremy said here.

Am I late to the party? Looks like I am. However never is TOO late.

Lets see. A faction, in its entirety, that is one of the most niche and most neglected factions, manages to find a second wind under leadership of Reeves, which I have/had several disagreements with and even went to point of insulting eachother, yet, he fucking managed to mostly fulfill the criterias, actually managed to represent Xenos to how they should have been played and grabbed that ruthless elbowgrease terrorist vibes.

However VERY interestingly, staff suddenly brings an unwritten criteria into consideration and denies the faction out of what I can only call as their bad blood with ONE person.

My two cents? This is bad, should be thrown into trashbin, reconsidered, if found another, ACTUALLY LOGICAL reason then denied again. However current reason brings raised eyebrows, rightful worries and means that if you are not liked by the staff, you and your faction is FUCKED no matter what you do. What is next? Denying factions you hate? Stripping OFs of their rights because of their leaders or problematic members? Then nearly every official faction should be stripped of their rights. Is that the staff's direction they want to take? Favouritism and selective punishments? Throwing entire factions efforts into trashbin just because one guy happens to not agree with you? That only makes the ever questionable takeover of yellows and their appointed GMs suddenly look even more unconcrete.

TLDR; this is wrong, spitting on entire faction in spite of one person is utter nonsense and should be reconsidered. No, there is nothing to be subtle about this. I apologize if my critisism is overly harsh, however that is the absolute truth.

The amount of replies from Devs/GMs are the number of melons they give about you. XA truly deserves to become official, but no matter how much you all yell, no matter how many replies showing why XA deserves this you make will matter. At the end of the day we are all nobodies in front of the mighty (at least how they think about themselves) Devs/GMs

Ladies and gentlemen. For the sake of atleast a tiny bit of transparency regarding this... well... lets call it what it really is. A mess:

The official faction request of the XA will be reviewed to find a solution almost everyone will be happy with. I can't and i don't promise anything. The outcome of the vote may or may not be different. But the concerns and opinions of the communitiy will be taken into consideration. Be cool and stay patient.

This thread is still in need of a cool off for a while. Eat a melon and enjoy other interesting parts of the Forum or the world outside of your house, room or cave. See you later.
