I'm just a lowly story dev with little power. But I do have the ability to harass those with it (sun)

Discovery is managed by the Head Devs collectively, nothing will really change without their say so. But prompting them and offering them solutions more directly might have the desired outcome. Hopefully, the survey will at least present clearly the most important things people think the Devs ought to work on or what the staff in general should do. From there we will see how far it goes.

you can propose all you want, there are maybe two reasonable head devs and maybe one or two reasonable admins.

sorry to be skeptical, but the situation doesn't seem brighter than before in terms of them ever bothering to actually listen and to make things happen.

i will be delightfully surprised when you manage to do even just a single thing, whatever it may be, until then, the situation is as bleak as it was when Justin was around or [insert some brain-dead staff member here].

I don't mean to devolve this thread into [me me hate staff], I don't think it's all bad, just that, after 10 years of being around, things have generally been the same.

maybe something will happen, maybe not

It's not defeatism if I turn out to be right and all your effort will be forgotten in the next 1 week, just how it always happens in disco (:

He a little naive, but he got the spirit. Keep trucking, Hokan.

I'll do something about my superiority complex when I cease to be superior.

The fact that Hokan is actually setting this up means he is actually caring about it.

Just give it a shot.

Gave my honest thoughts. Thanks for trying and let us see what, if anything, happens.

Filled it in for you, including my reasons for playing very little, if not at all as of late

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
