Why? The most dull and parctical reason I could come up with.

Who will outlive the other? Queen Carina or Bretonia?

The Queen will have to day one day (provided she's human and not yet fully-addicted to cardi), while the Bretonian Armed Forces will stay the same for as long as the house exists.

They could still keep the name in honour of her legacy. There has been precedent for this. Or they could change the name with a new monarch. In fact, there are British Army Regiments that have had to change their name from using the term 'King' to 'Queen' when Queen Elizabeth II took the throne. I imagine we would do the same.

Anyway, the decision appears to be made.

Um, as to Princesses, I believe that I've made reference to a certain daughter of the Queen that the Commodore is wooing, by the name of Isabella. She is not first in line for the throne though, so there would be others, I guess.

I will not vote, but I'll offer some advice:

I've been through two faction-wide Tag changes now, as well as an affiliation change. Rebuilding fighters, bombers and Gunboats is very easy, remake them. NCC the larger ships though because they are hideously expensive now. Larger ships would do all the "/i" anyways.

I hope Bretonia wakes up again because of this, its been pretty sleepy of late.

What it really needs, is not defenders, but traders....traders attract pirates, who attract police...and really, the only thing that the QCN does in Bret space is train and fend off invaders.

And, though, that reason did give me pause, and is a rather good one, I believe I have more against than for.
Sides, the chat keeps saying QCN...and I've invited the SFers....(though they haven't shown up)

SF were really close to getting disbanded, as there are about 2 truly active SF members.
And, in my experience, its whoever can who does the inviting.

EDIT: have changed it to Queen Carina's Royal Fleet.

QCP, QCO, QCR can outlive Carina.

Lots of British Regiments are named after dead nobility.

And ol' Vicky ain't around any more..

Anyway I'm getting a NCC to go from SF to QCR. All other SF should do the same.

Everyone follow that format and we'll do just fine. I think that you may be able to request High Command for reimbursement on the NCC front too.

If we'd have all these different taggs such as, QCP, QCO, ect ect, i think half the server wont get it/know who you are. So, overall BAF serves just fine. But pherhaps, with different groups or somthing? Like [BAF]clownface-1[P] "Privateers".
