NO WHERE DOES IT SAY TO BE USED BY UNLAWFUL FACTIONS ONLY. I bought it because it has a crago capacity of 4300 - THE MAX ALLOWED BY THE JUNKER ID. where on the junker id does it say junkers must be and conduct only unlawful actions. if the pirate transport is so wrong to be using them someone make a ship that has 4300 cargo that doesnt tick off all of the military/police characters! would folks rather i use a bretonian shire as a junker to haul my goods? If so then i will do that - i just want to left alone to do my trade runs LEGALLY!! :rtfm:
All the military factions are lazy. Thats why they all made pirate trans, and pirate train illegal in house space. So they can just yell Illegal ship.PEW PEW instead of actually doing their jobs, and scanning it. Also the same reason they FR5 every smuggler,or Embargo breaker they find. Why should they actually have to "chase" a potential smuggler, and scan them?
It is just being lazy. They post it somewhere that 90% of people will probly never read like THEIR OWN MESSAGE DUMPS and then can shoot you saying it is illegal, and was posted for all to see.
I have said it before, and will say it again. This forum needs a section where all faction laws/rules/regulations and so on are posted in one place.
This way new, newish, and even veteran players can scan it time to time, and see what rules/laws are,and what has been changed from vanila Freelancer.
I have lawful chars, and whenever a character i have not seen before, and is probly newish breaks a FACTION law (not vanila) i always let them be,and just advise them. I see no reason to enforce some stupid laws a Lazy lawful faction comes up with so they can just PvP more.
Ryoken, not again please?
If you feel so negative about DiscoGC just leave us. Your remarks are insulting majority of players. There are not so many FR5's. And those which passes are legit RP-wise.
Your arguments are biased and self-centered, never ever with a proof to strenghten it.
I myself saw your RP as a caught smuggling Junker. That was crap load of RP. Hiding behind rules, going for PvP, disregarding and insulting inRP consequences and those who applied it. If you want to change DiscoGC, start with yourself.

Oh really? I got a sanction for launching with an embargo goods, and docked. Not smuggling. Faction power gaming, which is BS. I have not been "caught" smuggling entire time you have been on this server. So please PLEASE show me what the hell your talking about.
So i got one for you. Stop Trolling every reply i post. Cause no one gives a rats butt of your oppinions either.
PS. Respond, and troll more here if you wish.I will stay on topic unlike yourself from this point on.
No need for 1up trolling folks. Although your replies have legitimate points, please try to say them without aggression perhaps?
Anyways...

I actually agree with this mate. For the most part.
If there could be 1 accurate page (preferably on the wiki cause that's what most new folks use) of each houses/factions legal/illegal goods/ships/whatever..... I and many others would LUV that...

What is the one thread that will spell out all of the particulars for the individual laws or Kusari,Bretonia,Liberty,Rheinland,Order,Blood Dragons,Mollys,Corsairs,Outcasts - I could go on and on - where is that ONE EASY (takes no time to read) post???

The thread has been linked to multiple times, but apparently you've ignored it. http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=32168
Everything you need to know is right there. Does it take "no time to read"? Well, no, sorry. Laws are complicated. That's how it works. But it doesn't take that long.

It doesn't say that, but if you do something unlawful and get caught you have to face the (in-RP) consequences.

Given how much Junkers are hated inRP, if you want to be "left alone" during your trade runs you've picked the wrong faction.
If you want to do your trade runs "LEGALLY!!" you need to be familiar with the laws. It's as simple as that. If you can't be arsed to spend five minutes reading the laws for whatever house you're going to be trading through, then you deserve every encounter with the lawfuls that you get.

Wait what? Defend my statements? I never said anything about the ship's info on the wiki, you did. And I ignored all of your caps-lock nonsense because it was irrelevant and doesn't really say anything, but here you go:

Nowhere. The ship can be used by anyone. But guess what? If the laws of the house that you're in say that it's illegal to use the ship, then you're breaking the law by using it, and you've just become an unlawful.

Except that you kind of *did* go against the advice there, by using the ship in areas heavily patrolled by police and military.
It doesn't matter what you want to do with the ship. If the laws say that it's illegal to use the ship, it's illegal to use the ship.

Why thank you. No, you seem to have interpreted things correctly. You are free to use the pirate transport, just like you're free to carry cardamine. If you get caught breaking the law though, well...yeah.
Quote:NO WHERE DOES IT SAY TO BE USED BY UNLAWFUL FACTIONS ONLY.
Again, you're right. But you seem to be confusing two issues here--server rules, which are OORP, and house laws, which are inRP.
The server rules say that you're free to use the Pirate Transport. The server rules also say that you're free to carry cardamine.
However, house laws for several houses say that both of these activities are illegal. You won't get banned or sanctioned for doing them, you'll just face inRP consequences.
