I can take out 6 normal comp players with 2 capitals, 30 frigs, and 10 cruisers.. So why in hell haven't you beaten it yet? And I did a map with 5 stars all with 9 planets, 21 in the middle star..

I have to say that I really was not that impressed with Sins...

Homeworld was better in many aspects. Sure, Sins was prettier, but homeworld had a more interesting axis, and definitely a better story.

A good SP is extremely important for me in terms of a game. For instance, when everyone based Tribes: Vengeance, I actually thought it was awesome due to the storyline...

Ive never played homeworld, but I do agree with you on the fact that Sins lack of an SP is truly jarring. At least its got the whole replayability thing down.

Never played Tribes either... >.<

'Neway, different strokes for different folks an' all that.

I love this game. I expected Master of Orion mixed with Zergcraft and thats sorta what it is. I agree with most points about Diplomacy. Its useless. Also the 'culture' is not quite where it was in the Civ series which is what I immediatly expected. Its minor harrasement but nothing more.

I enjoy it because its less micro and nothing happens so fast that I can't react to it and defend myself (or attack). The UI is just great.

Best thing about the game though is the devs and how they listen to the players and actually patch constantly.
I hear they are doing pretty much an overhaul eventually with Dipolmacy/Culture etc so these are actually part of winning. Right now its just gunna an RTS with spaceships, which is still great.

As far as lack of SP its been said a million times, but as one dev pointed out no one as ever criticized Civ for lack of a story cause you build your own.

Just got this yesterday, and im really enjoying it, not ready for multiplayer yet ( as a game im doing against easy AI is kicking my butt), but i did make an account on the ironclad thingy, so if anyone has it look up Fuzion090;). Its a bit confusing, the tutorials cleared up a bit, aswell as the booklet.

Great game though, i suggest picking it up if you like space and RTS games.

I've got it.

Maybe we should set up a Disco MP game.

Would take hours though:(

I want it so badly.

Too bad my computer could only barely run minimum settings.

Curse you capitalists who don't think about people who don't have $8,000 to spend on a computer upgrade every three months!

Go to a specialist pc site (www.pcspecialist.co.uk is where I got this from. ?1000 or so and can run all games so far on high spec)
Far cheaper than other places.

Brilliant brilliant game. Takes hours though to win:P

One disapointment on sins though, it doesnt have a propper SP campaign. That really annoys me.
But, the Advent's awsomeness makes up for that.

Advent? bah! the TEC is where all the real muscle and action is hehe im busy kicking one of your Advent's ass's as he is a bit too stupid to split up his fleet to protect the two fronts he is fighting one haha

nah seriously though i wish there was an SP campaign but they have promised one with the Expansion pack and i really would not like to play this on MP as it has taken me atleast 5 days so far on the fight i am on now so it would probably take a month or so online hehe and all of the races are good in some ways but lack in others for example: Advent wins TEC in numbers but TEC beats Advent in their ships skill and power (since Advent Frigates dont actually have shielding of their own)
