That's an interesting idea, but where would they go? Given the possibly multigalactic extent of the Daam K'Vosh Empire, they may very well encounter Slomon K'Hara in neighbouring sectors.
True though surely any Nomads that are to the 'west' of Sirius would have made their presence known in the Taus? Which remain nomad free so far.
Just means you could use totally new skyboxes and generally create a new standard.
You are aware that the Newcastle system (in WESTERN Sirius) contains a Nomad Hyper Gate, right?
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
Never saw the Hyper gate O.o
Only saw the city etc.
Then again, hypergates are far more powerful than jumpgates and could go in any direction. (As could jumpgates) Very little presence of Nomads in 'western' Sirius though.
I wanna see why didn't the nomads either rebuild or get their system doom ship to Sirius and just blow us into dust?
Ships
<strike>Metroid- VIPER MKII - Licensed for nomads in both liberty and bretonia houses
Cargo Metroid- CSV - Unlicensed (I'm not gonna license my Cargo person)</strike>
Gonna start anew...
Sirius is the home of the Nomads, they wouldn't want to destroy it. Also, the Nomads in Sirius probably are different than the Nomads in Sol and probably aren't aware of each other's existance, so they can't move the Nomad Superweapon into Sirius.

Actually if Nomads operate on a hivemind type thing that they apparantly do, then the Nomads in Sol are most likely connected to the Sirius nomads somewhat. After all, Sirius is just another sector, not another galaxy. I think the nav map makes things a bit limited. Many forget that the map continues outside of the nav map's confines.
As you said though, they wouldn't want to destroy Sirius.

An exploration fleet might be nice though.
Unless, of course, the Nomads in Sol and Sirius are part of two separate hiveminds.
If Sirius was created as their little playground, would they not be centralised around it anyway?
Good point about the seperate hiveminds but might they have some form of contact with each other?

Possibly, but it might be that the Dom K'vash decided to separate them to see what would happen if they developed differently.
