Well, it's true. Indies can buy whatever they want as long as they have a matching ID and tag.

It's a good idea, and should be put into use. But with the exceptions of special RP.

My favorite things about threads like this are the chuckles they deliver over the chest thumping cries for better RP over ships that should be few in number.

Chiefly over my sly observation that the people who proclaim the loudest that such ships be few in number are that much more likely to be amongst those suggesting that they're the ones who rate a set of keys over their peers.

Which is also 98% of why I don't think that the community is mature enough to settle such matters internally nor do I feel that the admin team should be burdened with such concerns. Just do the best you can to raise the local bar of excellence, as Joe mentioned earlier.

I wish this was a UT server, it's be awesome to read threads like this about Raptors.

Well that is what I also see the funniest point, there are only a few of these and if you take mine into account....

With the terrible RP you show on your BS people will come looking for me in my BS to complain.....

I have a hard time believing that, honestly. People around here generally take the time to look at the individual and do their best to counsel them in a way that hopefully provides motivation and education towards promoting greater inclusion in the general community, not making sweeping generalizations that place a groups of individuals into broad categories with intent to scorn their mannerisms and dictate to them how they should conduct themselves.

Oh wait.

Yeah, I've recently come around to the way of thinking that the best way to prevent silly cap-whoring is to limit your own personal use of capships. If you set a good example...

I have one simple question for this thread:

Why do factions want to restrict independants when they are not meant to be trying to 'solve' OORP matters?

Answer is they all want to be power hungry cap whores themselves, without anybody to oppose them.
