Setting official faction activity minimum at 48 hours?

Set it for 60 hours\week. It's totally np.

We'll see how fast all current official factions will get replaced with capwhore based factions and we'll have a fun times with devs going mental about their own good work.

Agreed. I work a 38 hour week not including overtime. the vast majority of my ingame time is done during the weekends. I have reduced the number factions I am involved with to just one. I do this in order to provide my fair share of work and effort to that one faction. I believe the current system of 30 hours is a fair balance, especially for those factions that have fewer members.

As for challenging a current official faction, it can be done. Just figuring out the details now. What it entails. Certainly it will require that a faction pony up the 500 mil and post an official request. From there it'll be a three month challenge to see how well they can work together, how both handle internal crises, forum presence and yes, who logs the most flight time.

That's the bare bones outline, whether or not that's the system we get, who knows?

Activity =/= good role play

I am not in favor of allowing one faction to take another's status purely on activity. There are plenty of extremely active unofficial factions who could take official status, yet whose role play is bottom of the barrel in quality.

A status challenge should take into account far more than mere activity time.

Listen up, some of us don't even have 10 people in our factions, let alone 10 active people.

So how about, you take that little suggestion and.....

I find it increasingly common here in Disco of a bunch of ruggamuffins who think they're gods gift to the server (no names being mentioned) and that they know what's best.

It's not being changed, Del explained it clear enough. Quit your complaining, get on with the game.

You don't go to your Government and complain that you can't be a member of parliament because you have all the time in the world to do it. Some of us worked hard for what we got and not going to let a bunch of snotty nosed kids think they have a right to complain about how it is because they got more time on their hands.

The admins and devs made it this way, not you. Not me. We've adapted to this game, are you guys too thick and mentally retarded to do the same? Don't like it this way? GTHO ya whining gits.
