#3 I think go get off this thread and go vent by writing some RP thing OR shut up and start RPing' for once instead of WASTING time mutilating each neck you see.

I wrote 7 posts for my story last night.. I'm not sure I can manage another one this soon..:mellow:

Dab, why do you write it?


Why would I write something like that?

Easy, to vent with no collateral harm.

Why do I type things in-game?

I want to release my stress in a constructive way and have people be entertained by it.

Why do I play this game?

Life is exhausting and there's not much escape from it. Making it living hell on even a Gaming Community just shows the immaturity level and low standards, thus ruining the reputation, and No.. I don't say Reputation like the giddy-happy Freelancer Talk... I mean social consequences and altered opinions.

Guess what? You know what all the factions have in common?

PEOPLE. People that took their free time or what ever motive and let their thoughts be sharpened and interconnected with the characters they made and molded. And then some person, come along and joins it with, not lack of RP-ability, but lack of REAL character, of REAL thoughts, of REAL emotions, and REAL hurt.

The potential of endurance, existence, prosperity, and all that exists, it is a foundation of creating a bridge of MUTUAL respect among those who receive it. And to go against something or deny, or distaste, or give it a lack of dignity is ANTI. Anit- People. Anti-Life, Anti-Existence, Anti-Prosperity, Anti-Hope... and you know whats really ironic about it really? It appears like the actual thing. It acts like it, but wants to be -more- than it. It is the real opposite to it's existence.

I am tired of the nonsense in this thread. I will not put another character of thought into it.

Can you please tell me what powerplay power rp ... etc etc is give me a definition...

I've never come into contact with such a word. Yet I don't play computers games this is my first real one... so naturallY I dont know everyones definitions

And two Corsairs rush in to chase him out

He then starts roleplaying and tells Corsairs they have visions of their world blowing up and their ships destroyed.

Corsairs roleplay being pissed and they kill him

He then complains because noone would actually fight when they see those visions. People would be scared.
But here's the deal. He gave them no window out of there, basically he wants to be left alone and has come up with an roleplay to push people away and complain if they dont leave.

If Corsairs, instead of fighting went "oo noooo!" and fled it would be in roleplay, but what purpose would it have?

Lolwut? I'll threaten it (as a joke), but have never yet sent out the Barghie swarm to kill someone I've had an argument with on the forums, unless it's entirely in RP. So please level the accusation somewhere else. Because it doesn't fit here.

Maybe this isn't the right place to post but in my opinion the recent events regarding Silvan-DeFrance-Madame Sneaky have been very clearly retconned.

It's evident that the Gallic Royalty bit has been invented somewhere in the past month or so. And it just doesn't feel right, especially when you look back on her dialogue and history over the past 3 years. What would have made it more convincing is if you had dropped hints and foreshadowing here and there over the course of, oh say, a year. Or even half a year. At present, all there is includes a number of stories from the Story RP section and a single message broadcasting Silvan's "true self."

Personally, I believe that somebody that has lived in a community for 13 years would become institutionalized to a point that they would probably perfer to stay a Zoner rather then go back to whatever past they had. Aurelia, as a character, has spent a lot of sweat and blood trying to defend the Zoners for over a decade. Then in her last message she's giving mocking smiles.

In creative writing they call this "out of character."
