yes - we still have the "no imports" policy - but whats a rule when you cannot break it. - while the ship clearly is heavily influenced by the EVE design, it features a different size and skinning of course.
whats there to say - the policy is still active.... the design was still blessed by sufficient members of the dev team to be included.
well... i think it is nice to have different styled ships.
a big front + small side profile needs another stly of maneuvers than a long... streamlined ship.
you should not fly directly to your enemie.
more circeling around him and try to hit him at the edge of your screen
to the miningship models.
ok... they look nice. but well.
why more imports? -.-
we have so much talented shipmodelsers here.
maybe (for next time) it wouldnt be that bad if the dev team makes a list of needed ships/stations/other stuff. (sorry if there was one... if so I never found:D)
They aren't imports.
They have been modelled by members of the Discovery community and not taken from any game.
No doubt there is some influence but that does not mean that they are in any way linked or alike.
So sue him if his ships for Disco take some pointers from EVE.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
