My CHOICE Daedric was to simply be a lawful junker and use a ship that allows the max cargo stat my Junker ID allows and the pirate transport is the only one (4300). Well now I will use a Shire (4200 -since its allowed for me) and move only lawful goods.

You did not choose to be a lawful junker--if you had chosen that, you would've bothered to look up what "lawful" means.

oh boy. Someone's getting nasty. Did he hit a soft spot Hielor? Or do you just like to keep the argument going on and on?:tease:

Doesn't look to me like there was malice in his post. Actually looks like you two ran out of ideas and started insulting him for making an obvious point which both of you missed/ignored/hoped no one would see.

Bottom line: You are confusing "lawful" as an RP term with "allowed" as a rule term. You are allowed by the ID to have a Pirate Transport, sure, but this does not mean that the houses will just let you have it. It's a different issue, and until you recognise that, both of you are going to come into constant confrontation with some of the most populated factions on discovery.

Speaking of which, it looks like you've already aquiesced to their demands, as you now fly a Shire. Remember, the houses never ask people to like the laws that they enforce, only to obey them. That is what matters.

Hielor is better at arguing than either of you, if you really want to know,

1. He isn't obtuse.
2. He doesn't use capital letters to make his point.
3. He doesn't type unintelligible drivel.

I wonder if you can say the same?

You are making me work like a broken record - bottom line - put the rules folks claim to be in effect in the game itself to help avoid confusion. Its a much bigger fix than simply referring all noobies to a website thread here on the Discovery forums. That sir is my bottom line. And the caps sir are merely for more emphasis - I thought that was a well known fact. :D

I'm sure that bold and italic formatting are used for emphasis. It's easier to read properly cased sentances than a line or two of block capitals. Even something this trivial is useful when you want to convey a message, and you do, do you not?

You have not addressed the main problems of:

1. Introduction of many different commodities covering the laws of each house, licensure of certain legal exceptions and so on. These can number in the dozens, multiplied by each faction with their own comprehensive laws.
2. The matter of condensing some very long articles into readable sections (and note, cutting bits out isn't a solution, as people will claim ignorance should bits be left out).
3. Making the structure of timely changes to certain commodities via updates accessible to factions to enable them to change their laws when they need to do so.

It's all well and good saying what you want, but if you have any sense at all, you'll have thought of and addressed the problems that your solution creates. The issues above are very very relevant, claiming that they do not exist or "are not serious" will simply prove your idea to be nothing more than a pipe dream.
