They're nerds who got sand in their flaps about Ageira being douchebags to them, and now live out lives of crime using their high-tech know-how. It basically means they can get away with debauchery, hedonism and self-gratification on an epic scale, by ripping up unprotected corporate targets. The revolutionary bollocks is cross-contamination from the Hellfire Legion.

I happen to have read all the rumours in Magellan, etc.
Please show me the rumour about toppling the government.
Then again, everyone loves to play the good guy (especially when they're not), so that aspect could have come about on its own. The Red Hessians are a shining example of that.
EDIT: Did you really have to use your shared faction account for that? The name to the left of a post doesn't give any more or less value to it. It's the content that matters.
EDIT2: This should make finding that rumour easier. I'd recommend looking at Mactan, Montezuma and FP4. Enjoy,

Do you see me naming people, or attempting to bring shame on any individuals? Try harder, please... The only point at which this has become a trial by forum was the incident mentioned by the member of The Indians earlier, which was personal and targeted at a very specific group of people. The original post in this thread is deliberately non-specific and doesn't name any of the people involved in the incident which inspired it's creation. Really, if you want to start throwing "trial by forum" type mud, go check the post by the member of the indians here.

I do put forward a request to have defined it very clearly to avoid future confusion. Since its annoying at least to see people from all kind of factiosn to converge on you just to pew.
See here:

The other is finding a method of wording what should be common sense, in a manner which isn't either overly restrictive, or so loose it leaves people open to do whatever the hell they want, regarding the term 'ally'

Sorry, I posted with it by accident. We generally don't use it for OORP purposes.
What bothers me is not the "Lane Hackers are cupid thugs that pretend they have a cause just so they can present themselves as Robin Hoods", because honestly, that can be pretty much the case and depends vastly on the interpretation - By that I mean : people are free to think what they want about Hackers (and every other faction, by the way), they are free to think that they are common and greedy pirates, they are free to think that they have a cause and their struggle is right.
What bothers me is the Hellfire Legion part. Lane Hacker goals are not influenced by the [HF], be it InRP or OORP. InRP, it would be an understatement to say that the two factions dislike each other, and OORP, we operate in vastly different manners (I am in both factions). I don't know where you got that part.

So Jihad are you saying it is wrong for a Xeno and a LN to ally together in say texas or Bering against a RM?
It's kinda what you are saying. All you should be doing is punishing the Pirates that cannot ally with RM, fullstop not ranting that RM and other such factions can ally with an unlawfull, get over it LN can.
' Wrote:So from this, you can fairly adaquately see that the RM, indy pirates, outcasts and lane hackers, should NOT form a group and randomly attack Manhattan. Also worthy of note... Basing attacks out of conneticut is lame beyond belief. It's also against the rules.
Don't do this. It makes me extremely annoyed.
I agree with you Joe,because I watched too much nonsense.I also hope that it will be valid for all,not only for players who attack Liberty.

Ok then think of it this way. What if the LN, XA, LH, HF and LR got all thier ships together in a group to bombard new berlin from orbit?
Because thats pretty much what the original topic is about but the other way around.
The only reason the XA and the LN can ally is specifically against non-liberty hostiles and thats only because they both don't want RM in liberty, and both understand that the other hates invaders more than they hate them.
I'm pretty sure house specific pirate factions would love to see thier own militaries get smashed to hell. Makes thier jobs of robbing civilians easier. But why would they help said military invade anouther house if they despise them so much? Thats the ooRP bit.
