that would be vasari. only played with advent so far, nice looking ships:P If anyone is up for a game, let me know:)

oh god yes they do suck >.< played them quickly and the first ship i built was its equivilent of a dreadnought (last on the list of capships) and so i got it to level 4 and so i sent it into their enemys home planet (surprisingly next door to me) it couldent even take on a TEC fleet of 5 light frigates and a level 1 Akkan BC! -_-

they sucks hard:)

They can get an entire fleet added onto theirs even if their logistics is full up. Dark Fleet was it? Powerful little buggers.
Also they have the technology for the jumping gates etc. They can go wherever they want in the end. Even straight to your homeworld:P

yeah but their ships are not exactly that great except for phase missiles but even they dont really do much damage and im betting you dont get many ships with that Dark Fleet as the TEC's insurgency is also pants. about 5 ships randomly attack an enemy planet (consisting of 1 Kodiak, 2 Light frigates, 1 LRM and 1 Siege frigate) and the best part is if you are attacking the same planet at the same time they then they attack you although they are meant to be oppressed people of the TEC -_-

im betting that 'fleet' will only consist of about 10 ships 8 of which are frigates and the other 2 are either support or a combat-cruisers

Oh apparantly you get between 30 and 50. I think their phase technology is brilliant. Send the bulk of your ship-to-ship combat vessels into combat on the frontlines while you send around 20 planet killers direct to their homeworld.

our economy actually struggles alot from mid-to-late game:(almost made me lose my fights as i couldent replace my ships quickly due to them being outnumbered alot and that i didnt have enough money or metal:(had to resort to selling my rather large amounts of crystal and that made the crystal market crash thus reduce the profit alot

and proof that both my Dreadnaught or the Kol can take on that Radiance BS one-on-one atleast in stats anyway;)

Great game, a little bit to easy AI's, hard is a better normal and unfair a lower hard...

TEC
is too low, also at highter tech levels and with many capships you will need many command and repair cruisers, LRM or Garda frigates, ... thats it, maybe some cruiser-carriers, but not so important
->you WILL NEED thoose 3 capship classes: Kol, Sova, Dunov (Akkan could be build instead of every third Kol)
economics are slow at the beginning, you will need all terran-homeland upgrades and all mining upgrades...
...after that, just colonize Terran, Desert or Ice planets...
After the most important imperial research improve your ships fast, faster, GOD DAMN FAST

ADVENT
best shield tech, guardian and dominator vessels are the key to victory,
needed cap-ships: progenitor, halcion (instead of every third progenitor build one radience)
economics are on of the best, homeland-prophecy for terran and desert planets is most important, then also mining
Capships have low health, but with some intelligent research the armor-multiplcator could be incresed in an awesome rate

VASARI
some kind of not good balanced, good frigates, bad cruisers, you should try to buy more frigates as cruisers when playing vasari -> ZERG tactics work also in the end-phase of the game,
Kortul and the carrier (MANY Kortul)
economics are great if you have the vulcanic prophecy and control vulcanic planets...

_________________________________________________________________________________________

for all factions: first the main imperial research (2 or 3 imperial labs) and then full power on military research (5 to 6 military labs)

not every planet must be controlled, choose wisely,... asteroids are good for your ressource income and cheap to be setted up

dont forget to research the PROPAGANDA/BROADCAST as it could give yours ships extra boni also at enemy territory when your spreading propaganda has reached the enemys planet orbit

ENEMY1: TEC and TEC,
ENEMY2: ADVENT and ADVENT

(medium random map, locked teams)
you can win with only 2 vulcanic planets, 2 asteroids and your starting planet

All in all a GREAT GAME, but you will need real players if you want real hard fights...

There are also some good mods out:

RealCombatMod - good for single- and multiplayer

UNITCAPMOD - good for multiplayer only
MaxCapCapacity (23 or 32)
MaxFleetSupply5000 or MaxFleetSupply10000
UpkeepDecrease (only 44% total upkeep)
