Akumabito, I am a BAF indy, and I agree 99% with everything said here, so stop trying to represent me and get the hell out... The other BAF indys seem to be mature enough not to be creating problems out of something cool, so please stop.
One other thing, why would Bretonia's Navy stop being commanded by the Admiralty? In RL, the Admiralty commands the navy while answering to the politicians in the MoD. Each military branch has it's own command structure, while the MoD contains the polititicans and pencil pushers that decide budgets, operations, policies, etc. At least I think it works that way - don't quote me.

I believe they will still be run by the Admiralty, but the MoD isn't allowing the QCRF's Admiral to do as he likes any more.

Okay guys: forgive me for speaking out of turn earlier, perhaps, but I did invite indies to post concerns. I realize Akuma's record on the forums, but I opened the door to his responding here, so cut him some slack in this instance.
Akuma, I'd say you've made your point, and it has been noted by Dieter. That's all that can constructively be said right now, so just play and wait and see. Give folks a chance to do what they say they'll do.

I'm not representing you, I'm representing myself and my concerns. I'll "get the hell out" when they are answered.

Which is what, exactly? Dieter is high ranked in the most anti indie faction on the server and is on the record saying most indies in cap ships are bad and if I read his statement right that if they can't be brought into a faction with a carrot then they should be forced in with a stick. Am I wrong on that?

Dieter has said in this thread that he welcomes indies. Give him the chance to prove it.
I read what he wrote, but I also know he wrote it seven months ago, two months before you joined the server, and therefore in a context to which you were not privy. Please stop with the proof texts and let people carry out their verbal commitments. If they end up not doing so, challenge them. Otherwise, just play. Hospitality goes both ways, you know.
Edit: Akuma, you say you "remember" Dieter's February post, yet you weren't even around then. Please consider the possibility that you may not know the context of every thread posting you find in a search or read-through after the fact.
Yes, the future can be a source of anxiety for much of us, but I'm optimistic that we will finally get to give those vile Kusari swine a sound thrashing, six of the best, TROUSERS DOWN!!!

Those noodle-munching, forkless yellow-devils will be shaking in their breeches soon enough, I tell you that, squire! Pip pip!
